Little Did We Know, Or Did We?

The above image is among what is known as early signs prior to the WTC attacks. It is the cover of the DOJ Counter-Terrorism Manual in use months before 9/11. True, there had been a foiled attempt years earlier to bomb the Towers, but notice that the sights on the Tower in the picture center on the very spot the plane punctured the building. Random coincidence? What are the odds? Evidences of another explanation have been completely overlooked.

Get this lead line:

On November 9, 2001 Osama bin Laden Tells a Saudi Sheik That Unknowing al-Qaeda Members Had Dreams & Visions Forecasting the September 11 Attacks.

This line about "dreams and visions" is, technically speaking, a reliable detection indicator of the possible presence of Pain, Drug, Hypnosis (PDH), as used by the CIA since the MK Ultra program. Bin Laden had been a CIA cooperative from as far back as when they needed him and his followers to push the Russians out of Afghanistan. PDH has been long used by CIA counter-intelligence activities to foment crimes, assassinations and other destructive acts, that were covered up by embedded commands not to remember.

Dreams, visions, visitations in the night, these can be present to an awake individual even when PDH incidents are submerged under the influence of drugs and hypnotic command. You would have to be alert for this to uncover a suspected PDH that would otherwise go unnoticed.

The practice of compelling action by Pain, Drugs and Hypnosis is not new. It traces back as far as the 11th Century when zealot assassins of Hassan-i Sabbah were drugged with hashish and led to a staged "dream" incident of being entertained by a harem of beauties. Sabbah implied himself a profit or sacred leader, and only by following him would they be able to find their way back to this "heaven". In this way he could get them to do his bidding as assassins.

Some very involved counter-intelligence operations have been assisted by the use of PDH. Witness the crazed assassination of Bobby Kennedy. Details clearly showed symptoms of PDH in the assassin. We know the Who and the Why in the greater picture, but this avenue of the How has not been been pursued in that investigation. Restraints might be placed on the use of one of the devout secret tools of espionage if the truth were known.

Abundant evidence illustrates it was impossible for Bin Laden and the al-Qaeda to have pulled off the catastrophic but tidy destruction of three sky scrapers on September 11, 2001, without much highly technical help. There is undeniable evidence of prior knowledge by concerned government and private individuals in the US. These things are not random coincidence. Someone was running a complex but crazy operation. Hidden recruitment by PDH is not an unreasonable assumption.

The oddity that stands out is that Bin Laden, psychotic on his own, nevertheless got all the credit, and blame, and became the object of intense international pursuit yet ran free for a decade. It was convenient having him as the poster child for terrorism to justify two wars, excuse sweeping advances of the police state in the US, and set the stage for ten years of profiteering by the military industrial establishment. One is left with the feeling he was a dupe, shades of Lee Harvey Oswald, who, as you may recall, was conveniently assassinated when he was ready to talk.

There has been sufficient insanity on this planet to evidence that it doesn't take mind control techniques shades of MK Ultra to rear the head of psychosis in bizarre acts. That PDH techniques have been in vogue in the intelligence community raises some reasonable questions. We are not talking conspiracy theories here, this is following a string of empirical knowledge to the forefront.

However this went down, the complete collapse of the WTC Towers and the essentially untouched Building 7, we may never know for sure. The party line we have been fed is no doubt quite apart from the real intrigues that played out in the highest power circles. This, for me, is more than an idle hobby. Making sense of, and speaking out on, these mysteries may have survival value, lest the police state sink any further into the despotic tyranny our War of Independence was fought to attain freedom from.

There has been enough insanity on this planet to know it does take mind control techniques shades of MK Ultra to vent a psychotic head. That PDH techniques have been in vogue in the intelligence community raises some interesting questions. We're not talking conspiracy theories here, this is following empiric knowledge to the forefront.

This writer has long suspected the possibility of an operation by PDH, but this is the first reliable indicator that has come to my attention. In the surrounding circumstances of 9/11 the outpoints are so numerous, the illogical aspects are so telling, that the authoritarian story holds substance like a sieve. The supposition of possible dupes by PDH is a viewpoint not advanced in other commentaries, but this could meaningfully connect the dots. It should be explored with investigative reporting by someone resourceful and connected enough to dig in.

Libya and Human Rights

It will be interesting to see how Ghadafi's regime explains away this latest Human Rights violation to break out in the news. A woman is taken from her car at a checkpoint by Ghadafi Loyalists then apparently held captive, raped repeatedly and beaten. When she finally gets free she rushed to reporters and foreign correspondents in the state arranged hotel to get the message to someone fearing there would be more of the same with no protections from the meyhem. The cat is out of the bag.

So much was revealed in this one incident. First off, she felt she had to rush to the reporters and reach the international press or she would simply disappear for weeks or years. Such fears are not an exclusive of Ghadafi's Libya as our own Homeland Security has been known to do that.

The first response is to kidnap her again, after the Ghadafi undercover police pretending to be hotel staff bludgeon press corps members, smashing their cameras and recorders, who were trying to protect her. You can only call it kidnapping as she is taken by force in obvious violation of rights -- hers and her would be protectors.

Then they attempt a smear campaign of the girl to claim she is insane, a drunk, and a prostitute. Get this: she is actually post graduate law student studying in Tripoli. This is the wrong person to try to exploit.

There was even an attempt to bribe her family to persuade her to recant the charges. The official stance now seems to be that the rapists are being investigated, that this is a criminal matter rather than political, and that some of the suspected rapists are filing counter suit for slander. That's rich. Then again, the state sponsored smear campaign is not slander, evidently, while the covey of undercover "hotel staff" who rushed to get this gal away from the press wasn't political, evidently.

What makes this possible is a major weakness of Human Rights bills needing to be bolstered, that and unchecked criminal behavior bolstered by a lawless totalitarian regime. Anything declared to be a matter of state security, including the labeling of acts and persons as terrorist, in the opinion of the declarer, is considered outside the realm of Human Rights. As soon as one is deemed terrorist by state police organisms, rights are suspended with unreasonable seizure, no Miranda rights, no legal representation nor swift and juried justice. Whether the organization is like the NSA, Homeland Security, the Libyan spy agency Jamahiriya Security Organization, MI-5, the Mossad, SBU, China's MSS, or the Congo's DGSE this above-the-law think is justified as protection of state security. Don't buy it.

Look at the kidnappings that landed up in Quantico. Several hundred of those detainees for years were there as innocents or with so little or no probable cause they were let go. For instance, an innocent farmer whose only crime was to be a mistaken identity was held captive for two years. This the problem with omnipotent powers given to state security -- they can be opinionated, and opinions are not fact. Then there are no checks and balances to correct the injustice when they are wrong.

The 007 mentality has been long glorified by James bond movies and the like where innocents are not locked up or killed. It is simple Hollywood; all those who work for the bad guys and those who work for the good guys. The truth is most secret intelligence agencies mean business, each from it's own viewpoint is well intended and charged with high purpose, meaning it can do no wrong.

Ghadafi's intelligence people are muffing it badly. The hilariuous part is it appears like a B-List movie, a poor one at that, of what they think they should be doing as "that is the way US intelligence does it".

Drawing the Line On Human Rights

Contemporary advancements of technology requires the drawing of the lines re Human Rights, newly, to keep abreast of the technological advancements and calls for a broader view of the undeniability of Human Rights.The recent discussions re Internet rights violations was brought to my attention by the public access snippet re Gmail and another on Google Images by Gary North, who links to advice on what to do to increase your protections. Check it out and take the steps to enhance your protections.

The hub-hub is that the Internet communications you store in ISPs are subject to unfettered government perusal of your emails. You can see this in news articles by the web site Threat Levels here, re Gmail and re Google images here. Personally, I hope they enjoyed my letters to President Obama.

In July 2009 I asked Obama's Campaign Manager if the President was on drugs. There was also that sage advice of what to do about the Gulf oil spill, not offensive just no minced words. Still, I don't think he got the memo. Then there was that post with the wry references to Obama and his government pursuing the same old agenda as Bush. The earliest was when Senator Obama was still on the campaign trail and I jumped down his throat for his pro-psychiatric voting record that makes him leader of the pack. These posts notwithstanding in the realm of authors and columnists, a broader view of the meaning of this is warranted.

The 4th Amendment concerning unlawful search and seizure guarantees your rights to your property and effects. That is, except for those government actions that are "above the law", which is why we needed the 4th Amendment in the first place.

Should you ever be so unfortunate as to be deemed a terrorist or somehow a threat to state security, which could be created by any franchised redneck fomenting Homeland Security, you are subject to a suspension of your rights immediately. Being seized and carted of to an unknown location without Miranda protections or a call to your attorney, to be secretly held incommunicado indefinitely, blatantly violates a whole parcel of Rights.

You do not even have to be the person deemed suspect but may only be a relative, friend or acquaintance of someone who has been so unfortunate. You can be completely innocent of any charges and under no reasonable suspicion and could find your emails stored in ISP files under perusal with no court ordered authorization. Of course there is the keyword listen in of electronic phone communications as well. I believe the word for it is police state.

This is a matter of the Right to Life, abrogation of, which is worded as such in the founding papers of the United States but did not get singled out in the Bill of Rights.

Literary directness in the last decade well could have prompted a placement on the scale of dissension by any bureaucrat with more self importance than concern for We The People, where standing up for Human Rights, the Constitution or opposition to oppressive government makes you out be "one them we must keep a watch on".

Proclaiming Free Speech seditious has a long history. In the US it goes back to John Adam's controversial Alien and Sedition Act. So this is an area not without previous concerns.Outspoken instances of freedoms of speech have probably gotten more than a few individuals placed on "the list" in the paranoid wake of the 9/11 fiasco. It also opened precedents for new violations of Human Rights. The advent of new technologies as in the Internet as well as electronic phone communications means a need for defining new legal parameters.

The redefining of Human Rights in these respects is an ongoing battle, which we must win on the side of adequate protections.

Bill of Rights Full Text Revisited

One would expect at least our US Congressmen, hence candidates for Congress, to have a good working knowledge of the Constitution and the First Amendment. All other Federal law ensues from these.

This week a debate between campaigning politicians turned to the coverage of Bill of Rights, particularly the First Amendment. Candidate Christine O'Donnell challenges, "Where in the Constitution is the separation of church and state?" Her opponent, Chris Coons, an American lawyer and County Executive of the New Castle County, Wilmington, Delaware, asserts it is in the First Amendment with a paraphrased quote of it's first line.

Two points are well made: first, O'Donnell's stating that that specific phrase is not written there but is out of a commentary reference on the expectancy of the separation of these By Thomas Jefferson, and second, when questioned by O'Donnell as to the five freedoms in the First Amendment Coons was only able to name one, religion. That is a pass for O'Donnell

It is not simply politicians, who must be by office and duty committed to the Bill of Rights, but all US citizens need to know the content for their own protection as well as mediation of behavior towards others.

The Bill of Rights are the first ten amendments to the US Constitution.

The Bill of Rights

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment II

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment III

No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

Amendment VII

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Amendment IX

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Who Will Speak for Freedom?

At the UN Assembly Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad inferred that "some segments within the U.S. government" should merit investigation for orchestrating the 9/11 attacks. Obama dismisses this as "inexcusable", "offensive" and "hateful", and trafficking in conspiracy theories.

Trafficking in conspiracy theories? Let's get real.

Lively discussion, tolerance of contrary opinions and varying viewpoints, these are the hallmarks of freedom and necessary to a healthy democracy, the kind that formed America in the first place. The kind of democracy that we are supposedly promoting to the world.

Still, in light of the evidence of tampering and cover up concerning the 9/11 incident so logical, to any rational observer, the suggested investigation put before the UN is a contemplation many Americans would agree with. One can expect it to be not well received by someone with something to hide, who has to fear the casting of doubt on an entire time line of fallacious subterfuges with enormous consequences. Ahmadinejad tossed out a challenge which should be of no consequence to someone with nothing to hide.

Who tries to invalidate free speech, pretentiously exhorting it is loony that someone would suggest a truth has been covered up? Yet a whistle blower in the US today, trying to bring to light believed truth about government wrongdoing, is now officially deemed crazy, a "conspiracy theorist" or, worse yet, a "constitutionalist" (defamatorily intended).

And around comes Homeland Security because one has so freely spoken of the unethical politician so devoid of personal integrity.

The truth is the White House tried to push the cover story off on the public and the public didn't buy it. Originally, the present administration acted to distance itself from the Bush cronies that violated what our country stands for and fouled the name of the US on the world scene. Attempting now to continue the lies, carry on the show, maintaining appearances at all cost, will not win Brownie Points for Barack.

I've heard questioning commentary from other peoples around the world, particularly by our Christian allies, why would we tolerate crimes and abuses by our leaders while known facts lay on the table. Is there any good answer to that except that our press is controlled, our government is bought off and the credulity of resident evil is a hard swallow from the main stream. Nevertheless, rejection of the party line is more widespread among reasonable peoples than we are led to believe.

President Obama is, of course, a politician with an eye always on the polls and a hidden agenda from those so mega-rich they are off the records and beyond the radar. Why be shocked at anything he does, especially if he gets re-elected and can really turn the screws, which he will if not thrown out by the populace not willing to go one more round. One only wonders if he will join the ranks in history of despised Presidents along with Bush (who escaped the impeachment submitted) and Nixon (who was impeached). Does he really, really, really think anyone is going to buy Bush's lies just because they come from the incumbents mouth? I'll bet this drops Obama 10 points in the polls of popularity.

One day there will be a day of reckoning and good sense will prevail. A little urgency added to this request might bring results before evil presents us with the demise of the US as we know it, or worse, a new dark ages.

Intelligence or Counter-Intelligence?

Evidently slanderous intelligence makes its way into Bob Woodward's new book "Obama Wars":

'It also reports that the U.S. has intelligence showing that manic-depression has been diagnosed in Afghan President Hamid Karzai and that he was on medication.

'In Kabul, Waheed Omar, Karzai's spokesman, said those allegations were untrue.

' "This is a baseless, inflammatory comment that has its roots in a defaming propaganda campaign against President Karzai's personal integrity, leadership and his stances on matters of Afghan national interests," he said Wednesday. "The president is safe and sound. I can confirm that he takes no medication." '

At best it is a contrary fact, if not counter-intelligence. No doubt Karzai knows enough America's dirty secrets regarding the Afghan war that he could be a threat to the US partisan interests if they fail to subjugate him as a dupe ally. Makes one wonder how much he knows of Bush's degenerate 911 domino fall.

From Chinese spy tech comes the "dead agent". A secret agent who tells lies to the enemy is dead if he is found out. Seeding misinformation is stock in trade for the spy business which lives by intrigues, cabals and subterfuges. In the end US crashed the party in Afghanistan in pursuit of Osama bin Laden, who is far from "a sole gunman" in this affair.

But hey, got to protect those poppy fields, the CIA must have it's financial fix. (Not slander as it is known data that CIA traffics drugs. It's only "coincidence" that the largest drug producing poppy crop in the world is in Afghanistan.)

The truth needs a better council.

The President Writes, I Answer

The email would appear to be from the President. The disclaimer from the Democratic Party and the auto-response from Organizing America would indicate it wasn't and that my response will not return to the President. Expected, but too bad.

Still, I "wrote back". My reply is here, the email to me is below. By blogging it I know someone will hear.

Dear Mr President,

Yes, this is a rough scene in the Gulf. One can only hope it doesn't destroy too many livelihoods.

The Valdez spill in Alaska disrupted lives and the ecology for a long time. The compensation from the Alaska spill never even began to compensate the incomes lost by fishermen and others who fully depended on the natural resources. At best Exxon Mobile, BP's minion, paid dimes on the dollar of actual loss and had the total slashed dramatically by Supreme Court appeal.

The Floyd Lesseigne-s and the Terry Vegas-s and the whole communities of such individuals upended around the Gulf Coast are recipients of a gruesome toll of trusting the drilling rigs to uphold their end of the bargain. Of course anyone had a say in the matter of offshore drilling. Still, this oil spill qualifies as a significant betrayal of trust.

Heads should roll thus. This is far too absurd to consider as a simple "accidents happen". "Some spills are to be expected." Fail-safe technology is so abundantly available to the culpable corporations that this big a flap is no less than criminal or at best criminally negligent. Like manslaughter with an automobile there is a who and a why, neither of which we have heard anything of.

I'm sure an investigation with integrity will find all 3 as you mention; laws never enforced or ignored, lack of oversight including possible special favors or financial irregularities, and laws broken by individuals. You can count on it. Usually this kind of thing is smoothed over by a permissive political/economic culture that dares not make anyone specifically accountable. Cuff 'em Dano!

Asking BP to pay is only a lessor part of this; this will simply marginalize the huge profit figures while we attempt to bring the generality "BP" to responsibility. You might as well shout reparations at the namesake sign on their building. A very trustworthy independent investigation must find out who did this and what they did or failed to do having such gross consequences. Only in this way can we hope for no re-occurrences.

"The blowout diverter failed" doesn't explain anything for me. How come? Was it not designed for those depths? Sloppily mounted so it became jammed or iced in the installation? Made in China for peanuts? Recycled from another mothballed rig? Shortcuts? Was the Mud Engineer on drugs? Could we get some answers to the pertinent questions?

No one has a right to commit such massive destruction to the planet's ecology. Their "help" has become majorly harmful to the general welfare. It is good the response is big, albeit rather late in starting big. Containment is one matter; how about reversal of the damage, how is that to be addressed? Resilience sidesteps stifling effect only as long as one can do something about it.

The greatest good is what furthers the highest survival for the greatest number (meaning people, not barrels). A President who did that without fail would worth his weight in gold.

Yesterday, I visited Caminada Bay in Grand Isle, Louisiana -- one of the first places to feel the devastation wrought by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. While I was here, at Camerdelle's Live Bait shop, I met with a group of local residents and small business owners.

Folks like Floyd Lasseigne, a fourth-generation oyster fisherman. This is the time of year when he ordinarily earns a lot of his income. But his oyster bed has likely been destroyed by the spill.

Terry Vegas had a similar story. He quit the 8th grade to become a shrimper with his grandfather. Ever since, he's earned his living during shrimping season -- working long, grueling days so that he could earn enough money to support himself year-round. But today, the waters where he has worked are closed. And every day, as the spill worsens, he loses hope that he will be able to return to the life he built.

Here, this spill has not just damaged livelihoods. It has upended whole communities. And the fury people feel is not just about the money they have lost. It is about the wrenching recognition that this time their lives may never be the same.

These people work hard. They meet their responsibilities. But now because of a manmade catastrophe -- one that is not their fault and beyond their control -- their lives have been thrown into turmoil. It is brutally unfair. And what I told these men and women is that I will stand with the people of the Gulf Coast until they are again made whole.

That is why, from the beginning, we have worked to deploy every tool at our disposal to respond to this crisis. Today, there are more than 20,000 people working around the clock to contain and clean up this spill. I have authorized 17,500 National Guard troops to participate in the response. More than 1,900 vessels are aiding in the containment and cleanup effort. We have convened hundreds of top scientists and engineers from around the world. This is the largest response to an environmental disaster of this kind in the history of our country.

We have also ordered BP to pay economic injury claims, and this week, the federal government sent BP a preliminary bill for $69 million to pay back American taxpayers for some of the costs of the response so far. In addition, after an emergency safety review, we are putting in place aggressive new operating standards for offshore drilling. And I have appointed a bipartisan commission to look into the causes of this spill. If laws are inadequate, they will be changed. If oversight was lacking, it will be strengthened. And if laws were broken, those responsible will be brought to justice.

These are hard times in Louisiana and across the Gulf Coast, an area that has already seen more than its fair share of troubles. The people of this region have met this terrible catastrophe with seemingly boundless strength and character in defense of their way of life. What we owe them is a commitment by our nation to match the resilience they have shown. That is our mission. And it is one we will fulfill.

Arizona Immigration View Warned by UN

The controversial Arizona State Immigration Law now is now condemned by the UN board of rights who has posted a warning from the United Nations' Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights which "released a scathing statement" scooped by this Yahoo News article.

The US is a member State of the United Nations. What this says is that we are equally part and parcel of Humanity and should support the principles ourselves. Set a good example is more than a good idea for this nation that historically has been the world's foremost symbol of Human Rights.

The US collaborated in the establishment of Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Ethnic profiling was expressly prohibited by the UN International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. The UN International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families was also participated by the US.

A blogger ID Brenny makes this comment:

"First off...who gives a flip what the opinion of the UN is? They are in no way responsible for making USA laws and let's never give up our sovereignty and let them. That is one ineffective non-productive organization."

To which I say:

"You should care.

"The UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights was proposed by an American First Lady and accepted by the body of the UN. It parallels our Bills of Rights, the best thing to happen in human rights since the Magna Carta.Only now it applies to the world scene. Without it you have free reign of bullies in power, totalitarian thugs, depraved men who torment and enslave people of good will. With it there is a means to reign in the lawless psychos. Unless you WANT to live the life of a horror film.

"We are not alone on this world. We have to live with everyone else. So why so critical of our fellow man? 80% of the people on the planet are persons of good will.

"If we don't support and embue life to the UN we don't care. What goes around comes around."

Mankind is mankind. The sovereignty of nations does not usurp that fact. If the UN is "useless" in uplifting mankind it could be relative to our own lack of support

It is time to get real and address the basic issue of why millions are sneaking across the US/Mexico border into US border states. What problem are they trying to solve?

Another Intelligence Subterfuge?

Cabal and and deception, intrigues upon intrigues upon intrigues. These make for a good Hollywood action movie, but in real life these are deliberate provocations of honest people of good will. The later forms by far the greatest number and it's for them the protections of the Bill of Rights is intended.

Hollywood aside, a string of apparently live events have occurred and it's time to connect the dots.

First off, a disclaimer: media from the press to junk tabloids are all too often peppered with manufactured stories. A statue on Mars of Elvis Presley emitting the music "Don't Step on My Blue Suede Shoes" was "found by the Mars Explorer" according to one gossip rag. Sometimes they get quite imaginative. You have to be alert for misinformation or even complete baldfaced lies.

On the other hand are whole events that delude. Current events can be falsely PRed, featured in series, singled out as "talking points", etc. This can present a very wrong subliminal or delusional message.

Intelligence agencies likewise are very creative in staging illusions within illusions. In the way that one perceives the subtext in a film as it plays out one can also read the subtexts of political manipulations of a society, if you know what to look for. It is an interesting hobby of mine to read the subliminal messages to pull back the string on who is doing what in their misguided belief of invisibility or brazen pretense of invincibility.

Intelligence agencies run their operations, presumably against the enemy. A sick aspect of our own US agencies is that they will sometimes run an operation against our own in order to popularize some shocking political moves. Jonestown was one of these, an elaborate CIA operation against a not-so-usual religious group.

The Jonestown story makeover turned a possibly fine religious group (some of those interviewed seemed normal and rational people) wanting seclusion from malevelant interventions over into an illusion of kooky religious cult. The political message? Stay away from new era religious movements, other religions are bad.

The full text reveals a CIA operation with CIA gunmen in the jungle shooting down anyone who tried to flee having survived past the hidden poison in their drinks. And Jone's body was never found. Sounds like an intense Hollywood action flick, except it was a very real CIA operation. Now that's intense.

The "press" at the time, before the truth came out about Jonestown, basically sent warning against participating in so-called cult activities, or religious freedoms.

When another fatal government fiasco was unleashed in Waco, Texas, the inept handling of which was just too hoaky. The picture painted was of the Davidians as a kooky cult. Afterwards survivors interviewed seemed to be grounded mainstream Americans. Religious Freedom and the Bill of Rights majorly went by the boards and would seem to answer, what for?

In the wake of the incident fact checking revealed supposed reasons why lacked substance; a lot of undocumented rumor and prejudicial discrimination. It was empty support for a full-on police-siege, military onslaught against over a hundred citizens in a religious retreat.

The question to ask is, what prompted the pre-planning of such an operation in the first place?

The media message, it would seem, was that if you are a religious group not of the good ol' boys then you will die. That's sick.

Acts like this don't just happen. They are caused. Someone is doing it.

Incitement to riot, for instance, doesn't originate with common folk, even those with dissentious grievances born of social injustices. It has been found to be the act of agents provocateurs. Evidence the violent apartheid riots in South Africa.

Where any violence erupts you will find someone secretly behind it with selective lies to both sides. When you have certainty of this little known fact the picture emerges quite differently. Riots are more often deliberated by agents provocateurs who have something to gain politically.

Look at some lies behind the "Islamic radicals". The enturbulated scene would appear to justify $billions support for 2 preempted wars, sweeping laws that encroach on Human Rights and misdirects attention from the real perpetrators of the fatal actions of September 11, 2001. So it is important to view the truth.

Only bullies and thugs, by far a minor minority, go far out of their way to get into fights.

Obscure lines in the Koran are being used to incite a minority Muslim faction to violent religious fanaticism. This is not the view held by the mainstream majority Muslims. Therefore those lines by themselves are not enough. It takes someones cabal covertly directed so as to stir up warring dissension. It can easily be assumed some agents provocateurs stir up the fringe group and provoke them into antagonistically violent activities.

Osama Bin Laden, before he became the much sought target for the World Trade Towers destruction, was a CIA cooperative. This, when it served him to get the USSR out of his backyard. No doubt his actual impetus in the incident is as laden with subterfuge as the Party Line re 911 forwarded to US citizens through the press and the mouths of the Bush cabal.

Since 911, the US conspirators of the controlled demolitions have branded the whisleblowers as "conspiracy theorists" selected for unconstitutional recriminations under the Homeland Security Act. It was flaunted as a game among the Bush Administration how much they could get away with, how much the people would put up with. Their gall has not gone unnoticed.

Subtext oozes from covert operations. It is laughable how easily the truth so arduously hidden can be discovered.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the Times Square attempt, now say it wasn't them but they applaud the act nevertheless. Someone trained the amateur bomber on explosives in Pakistan. It was very poor training, or designed-to-fail training, as he muffed the bombing. He is simply an incompetent would-be bomber or it was intended he fail.

It appears on cursory examination some other group than the Taliban and Al' Quaida was manipulating the activity. First suspect should the Pakistani group "Deccan Mujahideen" that claimed responsibility for the Mumbai attacks in 2008. They are genus the Pakistani radical group Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The organized attacks in Mumbai were too professionally executed to be a cell terrorist group. Indications are this was a group made-to-order for a counter-intelligence operation against one's own to create alarm for political advantage.

The Lashkar-e-Taiba was formed by Pakistani government, something they fervently deny, to run covert operations against unwanted Indian citizens resident in Pakistan. They later disbanded the group. It reincarnated as a new group, the Deccan Mujahideen, for the operation in Mumbai.

This has similarities to the kidnapping and beheading of Reporter Daniel Pearl by the “The National Movement for the Restoration of Pakistani Sovereignty", first heard of with this incident. US intelligence agencies suspect this group as tied to, guess who. The Pakistan Directorate for Inter-Services Intelligence. It could assumed this was another reincarnation of the Lashkar-e-Taiba. It is all too convenient.

Usually you will find me very tolerant of peoples, quite willing to grant beingness and give little consideration to their faults. When it comes to comes to actions by degraded military, intelligence and deceiving governmental activities my security red flags light up like a Christmas tree. Says there's a rat in the woodpile.

Very possibly some better investigative reporters than me will verify the suspicion of covert operations. My intent here is to give a head's up that all may not be not as meets the eye and invite further search into the subject.

A Fair Warning

This news alert has just come in about a new Senate Bill perked up my ears but looking into it I don't quite see it as alarming as it might seem on the outside:

S.3081 -- Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention and Prosecution Act of 2010 would allow the U.S. military to detain U.S. citizens without trial indefinitely in the U.S. based on suspected activity. Our friend Ernest Hancock digs into this bill on his Web site.

Since the Hutaree ring got rounded up in Michigan a week and a half ago, we’ve seen more than one congressperson mouthing off about “our enemies.” They aren’t just Islamic extremists anymore; we must be wary of the “homegrown terrorists” now.

The proposed activation of the military against private citizens in circumvention the Bill of Rights appears to be an ominous tryst down the path of suppression of Freedom. There is no domestic use for military here.

First of all, the government of the United States is of, and by, We the People. That is the revolutionary breakthrough that was the healthiest breath of air on the subject of Human Rights since the Magna Carta. The Court Judiciary and Trial by Jury (of the People) systems , and separation of the Branches are what have made the US a unique and free country.

Secondly, We the People are not "our enemies", as some Congressmen have perhaps been overheard to say. If this is indeed prompted by the Hutaree incident as evidence of a need to suspend the Bill of Rights for domestic military action thus one must draw the line. The CIA has been prohibited by the Courts from intelligence action against citizens within the US and equally the Military should not be allowed to go there.

The Bill cites Article 5 of the Geneva Convention Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War. This is a thin argument in our current times by reason of two undeclared wars pushed off on us by lies of an Administration, even while incriminated in events used to justify the acts. Murky waters there. Still, with much evidence from lawsuits filed, documentaries and investigative reporting, as well as House Resolution Bills advocating impeachment, these "wars" don't stand up to the acid test.

The purpose of the initial 48 hour interrogation is the determination of "high-value detainee", a military-intelligence euphemism for someone appropriate for covert and Carte Blanche chemical/physical interrogation. The determination of the skill craft used in would include "as the President sees appropriate".

Per wording of the Bill determination of the status of "high value detainee" must be made within 48 hours, of military interrogation of the "unprivileged belligerent", military methods.

If enacted as proposed some citizens could be targeted (deemed "Protester", "Constitutionalists", "Conspiracy Theorists", ie, persons seeking the truth) and seized in the Continental US, held incommunicado indefinitely and with no representation if capriciously determined to be a "high-value detainee". This is how evil politicians have in the past gotten rid of political enemies from among their People, acting in fearful accusation of dissention, where protest and free speech rights get trammeled.

I wouldn't put it beyond possibility that that sub-group of the Hutaree arrested were subjected to infiltration and covertly incited to crazy action, shades of MK Ultra, or agents provocateur (from our side or our enemies). This to rile Congress, to push through innocuous Bills, to quash our freedoms, or just for general turmoil. It has happened before. But people don't just willfully set out to shoot policemen. Exceptions are behavioral modification and psych-drug destructive side effects, but then these aren't "willful".

Actual proof the Hutaree conspired to shoot police officers might be hard to defend in court as it resulted in no shot policemen. The planning of the gangs of thugs like Al Capone, Bonnie and Clyde, and John Dillinger were clearly evident as they did rob banks and shot up the place. One should suspect this as a showcase or Abscam-type set up to launch the Bill, but these are not necessarily connected and may only be tied by human emotion and reaction.

It will take more research, looking into the Geneva Convention itself to determine what is a "privileged belligerent" as opposed to an "unprivileged" one, and whether either of these even apply to climate now in the shadow of Bush's "wars". Either way it is a cop-out: without court sustainable evidence one can still interrogate the hell out them and get the dope under military-intelligence drugs and torturous duress not hindered by "privileged" restrictions.

This becomes a Bill to watch as to what tag-ons may go with it or onerous wording changes might arise.

Lawsuits Fly Over Legality of Health Care Bill

The controversy over the legality and fundamental rightness of the Heath Care Bill does not not end with its signing by the President. In fact the opposition only mounts as a mound of lawsuits appear to contest it.

A legal firebrand whose work fighting corruption left both Bill Clinton and Dick Cheney on the defensive today took on Barack Obama, suing the president for secret meetings with Planned Parenthood and other lobbyists on his plans to nationalize health care.

Larry Klayman, founder of Judicial Watch and, more recently, Freedom Watch USA, filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., under the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The law requires disclosure of records of meetings between the executive branch and outside industry lobbyists. It also requires access to meetings.

As I write this, Virginia is set to file a lawsuit as soon as the usurper in the White House signs these junk bills into "law." The criminal syndicate in Comrade Obama's Politburo and Department of Justice will scoff at the notion that this "law" violates many Amendments: Fifth, Ninth, Tenth. They will try to use their favorite stand by - the commerce clause:

NEW YORK, March 22 (Reuters) - "Virginia's attorney general said he plans to sue the federal government over the healthcare reform legislation, saying Congress lacks authority to force people to buy health insurance."

BOISE, Idaho — "Idaho took the lead in a growing, nationwide fight against health care overhaul Wednesday when its governor became the first to sign a measure requiring the state attorney general to sue the federal government if residents are forced to buy health insurance."

Florida says several states to file health care lawsuit

MIAMI, March 22 (Reuters) - "Florida's attorney general will file a lawsuit with nine other state attorneys general opposing the health care legislation passed by Congress, a spokeswoman said on Monday.

"The health care reform legislation passed by the U.S. House of Representatives last night clearly violates the U.S. Constitution and infringes on each state's sovereignty," Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, a Republican, said in a prepared statement announcing a news conference

"On behalf of the State of Florida and of the Attorneys General from South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Utah, Pennsylvania, Washington, North Dakota, South Dakota and Alabama if the President signs this bill into law, we will file a lawsuit to protect the rights and the interests of American citizens."

The Health Care precedent in Massachusetts Obamacare is modeled after was a financial disaster:

Lawsuits like this cost serious money, but the cost of not defeating this junk about to become "law" will be a massive financial disaster. Massachusetts Treasurer Says Obamacare Will Bankrupt Country in 4 Years. This is Mitt Romney Care, the plastic phony positioning himself for another presidential run in 2012. A yes vote by the newly minted fake conservative senator, Scott Brown, helped get it passed. Romney Care has had a devastating impact on Massachusetts:

"The Massachusetts treasurer said Tuesday that Congress will “threaten to wipe out the American economy within four years” if it adopts a health-care overhaul modeled after the Bay State's. Treasurer Timothy P. Cahill – a former Democrat running as an independent for governor – said the local plan enacted in 2006 has succeeded only because of huge subsidies and favorable regulatory changes from the federal government. “Who, exactly, is going to bail out the federal government if this plan goes national?” he asked."

I watched Cahill on FOX the other night explain in detail how disastrous the Romney Care system has been for Massachusetts and then he outlined for ObamaCare. Very articulate and had the numbers to back up his statements. Like I said, the lawsuits will come cheap in the long run.

From a sceptical eye it would seem that the main financial impact of the Bill won't come until after 2014, as that is when most of the Bill is in effect. So Obama will be able to say what a good boy am I for reelection and then will start in earnest to bankrupt the country in his second term, much in the way Bush's second term found the 911 scenario upon us fomenting Human Rights violations of the Homeland Security Bill and two preemptive undeclared wars. One wonders what else he has in mind for us.

Myself, I'm looking for a class action suit I can join in on. Anybody game?

The Impact on Freedom

One of the comments on a blog article regarding the passage of the Health Care Bill makes a statement to the point of the impact on Freedom:

"Let's think about rights. Doesn't it bother you the government will now force you to buy health insurance? It seems to me that any time I'm "forced" to do something, I'm giving up my rights. In this case, I've lost my right to NOT spend my money on health insurance if that's what I choose to do."

It's true. Any governmental action is enforcement, for that matter. The whole Health Care Bill is about governmental choices like we couldn't make them for ourselves. To be enforced by the gun of the police state.

A free and benevolent society would be a generous and charitable one, naturally, as people are basically good and will in the end rise above the base and the criminal and take care of it's own. The bickering and infighting of Congress scraping for their powerful special interests sets no good social example of this. But then, that has been the nature of governments long before the Senates of Rome and other nations that succumbed to degenerative human weaknesses.

The last truly free nation in the world cannot turn out it's lights of Freedom as too many peoples around the globe look up to us for leadership. It only plays into the hands of psychotic enemies who bring a great nation to its knees, as evil will inevitably connive.

A one foot high stack of catch-all Bill has to now be repealed painstakingly section by section. Hopefully our wherewithal to sustain will not be completely destroyed before we muster the strength to regain our freedoms.

HISTORY LESSON _ Yet another immigrant who understands what she is seeing what is happening in the US today better than the native born Americans...because of what she saw first hand in Austria in the late 1930's.

This Truly is the Greatest Country in the World. Don't Let Freedom Slip Away

What I am about to tell you is something you've probably never heard or will ever read in history books.

I believe that I am an eyewitness to history. I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide - 98% of the vote.. I've never read that in any American publications.

Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.
In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed.. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates. Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn't want to work; there simply weren't any jobs. My mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need. Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people - about 30 daily.

The Communist Party and the National Socialist Party were fighting each other. Blocks and blocks of cities like Vienna , Linz , and Graz were destroyed. The people became desperate and petitioned the government to let them decide what kind of government they wanted. We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany , where Hitler had been in power since 1933. We had been told that they didn't have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living. Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group -- Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria . We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back. Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany and have Hitler for our ruler. We were overjoyed, and for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed. After the election, German officials were appointed, and like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order. Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed. The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service. Hitler decided we should have equal rights for women. Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home. An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldn't support his family. Many women in the teaching profession were elated that they could retain the jobs they previously had been required to give up for marriage.

Hitler Targets Education - Eliminates Religious Instruction for Children:

Our education was nationalized. I attended a very good public school.. The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitler's picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldn't pray or have religion anymore. Instead, we sang "Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles," and had physical education. Sunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance. Parents were not pleased about the sudden change in curriculum. They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time. The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail. The first two hours consisted of political indoctrination. The rest of the day we had sports. As time went along, we loved it. Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free. We would go home and gleefully tell our parents about the wonderful time we had.
My mother was very unhappy. When the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent. I told her she couldn't do that and she told me that someday when I grew up, I would be grateful. There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun - no sports, and no political indoctrination. I hated it at first but felt I could tolerate it. Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home. I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing. Their loose lifestyle was very alarming to me. They lived without religion. By that time unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler. It seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly. As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasn't exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.

Equal Rights Hits Home:

In 1939, the war started and a food bank was established. All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps. At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant if you didn't work, you didn't get a ration card, and if you didn't have a card, you starved to death. Women who stayed home to raise their families didn't have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.
Soon after this, the draft was implemented. It was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps. During the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys. They were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and participated in the signal corps. After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines. When I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat.
Three months before I turned 18, I was severely injured in an air raid attack. I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.

Hitler Restructured the Family Through Daycare:
When the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately established child care centers. You could take your children ages 4 weeks to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, 7 days a week, under the total care of the government. The state raised a whole generation of children.. There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology. By this time, no one talked about equal rights. We knew we had been had.

Health Care and Small Business Suffer Under Government Controls:

Before Hitler, we had very good medical care. Many American doctors trained at the University of Vienna . After Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone. Doctors were salaried by the government. The problem was, since it was free, the people were going to the doctors for everything. When the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full. If you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn. There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine. Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and emigrated to other countries.

As for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80% of our income. Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household. We had big programs for families. All day care and education were free. High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing.

We had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables. Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldn't meet all the demands. Soon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control. We had consumer protection. We were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the live-stock, then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.

"Mercy Killing" Redefined:

In 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps . The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated. So people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded. When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work. I knew one, named Vincent, very well. He was a janitor of the school. One day I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van. I asked my superior where they were going. She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade, and to read and write. The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months. They were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.
As time passed, letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death. The villagers were not fooled. We suspected what was happening. Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months. We called this euthanasia.

The Final Steps - Gun Laws:

Next came gun registration.. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long after-wards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.
No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.
Totalitarianism didn't come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria . Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism.
Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.

After World War II, Russian troops occupied Austria . Women were raped, preteen to elderly. The press never wrote about this either. When the Soviets left in 1955, they took everything that they could, dismantling whole factories in the process. They sawed down whole orchards of fruit, and what they couldn't destroy, they burned. We called it The Burned Earth. Most of the population barricaded themselves in their houses. Women hid in their cellars for 6 weeks as the troops mobilized. Those who couldn't, paid the price. There is a monument in Vienna today, dedicated to those women who were massacred by the Russians. This is an eye witness account.

Those spiritual words, Peace on Earth and Goodwill Towards Men, oft repeated characterize virtues we could use a lot more of around the globe.

It takes an abundance of trust and high ability to grant beingness to others, to always embrace the benevolence, generosity and greatness to rise above baser emotions that wear on one and taunt like response.

When you would seem to be egged into a needless confrontation you would be advised to have no fear, look it in the eye, take a deep breath, count to 10, or whatever works for you to not bite when bitten. Yet in the world there are insane enemies sometimes about that need to be rendered ineffective to harm. These are too often themselves the unrevealed culprits the politicos and their mad dog press try to foist off on us.

The men of goodwill, those who pursue life honestly and ethically comprise 80% or more of the entire populace. This is who keeps life tenable and the life force moving forward. The Holiday spirit reaffirms this. The Hope is it will last throughout the year.

May you embrace the causes of Peace and Goodwill and be of such import yourself reaping an abundant and prosperous New Year.

A Real Emergency Put in Perspective

We are told that millions have gotten the Swine Flue. In my area and among my friends there has been no cases to be seen. Not far from this in the same sector there is a situation having severe ramifications.

Medical mistakes, flubs by doctors and medical personnel, account for an alarmingly high number of deaths annually. These 200.000 preventable deaths annually are 5 times the supposed annual flue death rate of "38,000" (actually from pre-existing health conditions) and 1/10 of our total annual US deaths of 2.4 million.

When 1000 deaths occur "from" the Swine Flue the President declares a national emergency. This is a most curious outpoint, a hugely inflated evaluation of importances that sends up red flags.

The press campaign has pushed off on the public the horrors of the Swine Flue, far in excess of the actual intensity of this flue, and even had the hugely inflated numbers of those who will have gotten it well in advance of anyone having the virus. Since the Swine Flue is actually milder than the usual round of flue each winter this smacks of a Big Pharma marketing campaign, with Obama in line for perks.

In contrast, the proposed vaccine is potentially much more dangerous than the Swine Flue itself and is likely to cause more deaths than than the flue it is supposed to cure, all the while having almost no curing effect on the virus.

Since the Swine Flue is actually milder than the usual round of flue each winter and the sale of the flue vaccines is expected to reap millions this smacks of a Big Pharma marketing campaign, with Obama in line for perks. Pandemic? Do they take us for fools?

These deaths by doctors, though, now that's a pandemic. You have 5 times as much chance of being killed by the mistakes of your doctor than of getting and dying from flue complications. Surely that warrants an immediate emergency declare!

The President MUST declare this emergency and follow these measures:

1) All medical personnel are to deliver flubless services.

2) Any verified mistakes causing damages get double penalties.

3) Errors proven to have caused death without the shadow of a doubt are to be charged against the guilty person with a view toward criminal charges.

4) When the total of preventable deaths from medical errors is notably reduced only then is the emergency lifted.

5) Accountability is kept in to further a responsible medical profession.

Manslaughter, as this would be the case, unexpectedly by one's medical personnel, certainly puts a damper of the Right to Life. In whom do we trust?

A People-Speak to Capital Hill

No doubt you have heard me saying the voice of even one person will be heard. Here is the voice of one person that will be heard very widely and can't be stopped. She writes "an open letter to our nation's leadership".

The historical rampage of Bush provokes incensed reactions. Now it is seen that Obama is simply continuing his program of destruction of America. As in a rubber band the People can be maligned only so far before they snap back.

There isn't much I would add to or change in this open letter. The immigration point, however, her first point, I would modify significantly. I happen to know of some good family people tragically caught up in the inequity of some bad failures of the INS system.

Around 14 million aliens in the US are caught up out-of-status, most in contributing production for the country, albeit quietly so as to not be noticed. Mass deportation or any other than an amnesty would likely cause more unnecessary destruction and disruption of production than what good is intended. Without a case by case review determining rightness injustices will occur. The numbers in the millions alone may prohibit fairness, thus an amnesty sets the tables straight with the least confusion.

These illegals are not, in the main, the stereotyped picture as forwarded - persons who were smuggled across the border in the night. Most of the illegals have gone out of status on expired visas when they couldn't get out or during circumstances preventing proper handling. A great number of these have been here many, many years and are now an integral part of our economy and social fabric.

The idea that these illegals are all born of human trafficking and illegal smuggling across the country line from Mexico has been falsely promoted to justify erecting the American version of the Berlin Wall lining the border against our neighbors. Is that to keep them out or us in? While there has been much attention and publicity on the illegal trafficking I suspect it is a lessor percentage of the illegals.

The Freedoms of Movement, Right to Public Hearing, Presumption of Innocence, these things apply to peoples no matter what side of the border they are found. America is still an exceptional nation of freedom known as the melting pot where humanity of all walks come together and live in harmony, "with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood' - Article 1 of the Universal Declaration.

But this has almost become a blog post of a different color. President Barack Obama, unfortunately, is a politician and not a humanitarian, and that could cost him his job. The open letter is very sanely put and expresses well the whole gamut of what the People have been objecting to. We are not stupid and we are well aware of what is going on.

And yes, it has reached the point of saying as a whole, "Enough, no more."

Ron Paul With Alex Jones Excerpts

In an Interview with Ron Paul by Alex Jones the Swine Flue came under discussion and I have been discussion this so here is exerpts of the interview that talk of that and other subjects of interest to Human Rights pursuance.

Alex Jones: Congressman, when we come back I want to talk about the establishment’s response to the majority of House members now wanting to audit the Fed and the people getting angry. Lloyd Doggett and others went on the news and said it was all staged, all fake. It didn’t matter that I found out my neighbor was there, buying groceries at Randall’s in South Austin where I lived, and went over and started chanting. It didn’t matter if one of my dad’s employees in his dental office was there at the meeting, a Democrat who has sent a letter and that she was mad at him. It didn’t matter that it was real. He just says it’s fake. But everywhere people are saying “No, this just sounds like Marie Antoinette – let them eat cake.”

Ron Paul: Yeah. They’ll wake up soon, I think that this is not going to go away very quickly.

Alex Jones: Absolutely, but we’re going to have to break. We’re going to come back and talk more about this. There they are chanting at Lloyd Doggett. Hundreds and hundreds of people literally chasing him from the building, and he says it’s staged. Well, it’s not staged.

Alex Jones: Well, it’s great to have Ron Paul for a full half hour today with his very busy schedule. I have lot of emails here with questions that listeners want me to ask, so let’s go ahead with the questions. We ended that segment with video and audio of Congressman Lloyd Doggett, a big collectivist, being booed off the stage at a Randall’s grocery store here in Austin.

Now I talked to people that were there and they said “We don’t want this.” He said, “I don’t care what you want, I’m going to do it.” I saw him during the Cap and Trade say “I don’t care if I’m getting 5 to 1 calls against this, I’m going to do it.” That seems to be his call sign. And then the media is acting like it’s un-American and bad that citizens would dare chant at him. Is it un-American to go talk to your politicians?

Ron Paul: Well, when we can’t do that then it’s all over, you know. The first amendment tells you something about petitioning Congress and having some redress. So I would say that if they ever get to the point where they want to enforce that where you can’t call down your elected officials, the ballgame is over. But right now I think there is still enough room, you’re still on the radio, I still speak out, I’m still in Congress. So we have a vehicle and the answer is going to be in can we awaking and alert enough people to become activists and rally the cry for freedom.

Alex Jones: So the control freaks statist are in a race against time. We’re in a race against them. Where would you put our situation as humanity, as an American people? We see a huge awakening taking place. Is the momentum beginning to shift in our direction?

Ron Paul: I don’t think there is any doubt about it. You know, I keep thinking about what our history was like in the 1920s and the 1930s. In the 1920s and the early 1930s everything had already shifted intellectually. But even when Roosevelt ran in 1932 he ran on a conservative platform for the gold standard and balancing the budget and he criticized Hoover for doing all the dumb things. But the intellectual community had already come to the welfare state and socialism and that is of course what Roosevelt responded to. I think it may well be reversed right now. Because now when I go out and talk to colleges and campuses and kids and all, they know what Austrian economics are, and they know about the Federal Reserve. I mean just think of the momentum we have on the Federal Reserve; auditing the Fed. So I would say that underneath the momentum is on our side. But in Washington and the intellectual community are still very statist. So this [...] is very encouraging that we have to translate that eventually into political action. But the contest is on and we have a long way to go yet.

Alex Jones: Congressman, what are the tricks up the sleeve of the establishment? The people don’t want socialized healthcare, they don’t want open borders, they don’t want new wars, they don’t want a private Federal Reserve that’s above the law. But the establishment, it seems, instead of trying to give an olive branch, seems to be entrenching themselves further.

You’re a well read person, I’m sure you’re know Alabama is announcing that they’ll use the regular army as their new police force. New York is asking for federal troops. The marines in California are running DWI checkpoints. CNN and Fox are reporting that the army is going to lock down cities and try to carry out forced inoculations.

Now, they’re trying to announce this, I’m not saying they’re going to get away with it. But they’re certainly saying it. Martial law was threatened against Congress last year if they didn’t give in to the bankers. Clearly it appears NORTHCOM is a receivership arm now for the off-shore corporations that are trying to assimilate or absorb the United States.

Your comments on the swine flu, the hype, the fear? It’s killed less than 200 people in the U.S. and the regular flu kills 37,000 the CDC says, but they’re saying the end of liberty, the end of freedom, forced inoculations because of a couple hundred dead. Is this an excuse for federal expansion of power?

Ron Paul: Yeah, it is pure propaganda. You know, to get us involved overseas they use war propaganda, that somebody is going to attack us with a nuclear weapon if we don’t go in and invade other countries. The same way they scare people domestically. Most people don’t know what you just said that tens of thousands of people die from flu every year. And now we have a couple of hundred and they want us to just sacrifice our choices and just say, “Oh okay, if you tell us we need a shot, we’ll do it.” But there will come a time when there’ll be enough of us who would just raise cane.

But the other thing that is happening is the government is running out of money. There’s a limit, you know. They can have a lot of war propaganda but if they don’t have any money and can’t have these wars, the empire ends. The same way domestically, that’s what people should be prepared for bad times and survival reasons and know how to take care of themselves, know something about personal healthcare. And there probably will always be an underground economy regardless of how bad it gets, which means there will be… even in the Soviet system the people who were in the know-how always ended up with a private doctor, but let’s hope it never gets that bad. That’s the whole thing, that’s what we work so hard to try to prevent. But when you hear these stories about the use of force, the use of martial law and the tremendous invasion of our privacy, that to me is scary that nothing is private anymore. Everything in the government is secret, and your privacy is non-existent; that is what the real problem is. We need to reverse that sentiment.

Alex Jones: Well Congressman, you are a medical doctor, and I’ve pulled up your quotes from the 1970s when you came out and said, we had a few deaths at a military base… that by the way was triggered after the inoculations… and then thousands died, tens of thousands got sick from the swine flu vaccine itself. You were proven right then.

How did you know it was a fraud in 1976, 1977? And I know you’ve spoken out against it today. Can you specifically give us your take on where it’s going, because from my research it looks like Obama is going to use fear over this flu as a political smokescreen and as kind of a false flag to control a crisis so government can grandstand as our savior to push through the carbon tax in the Senate, to push through the amnesty, the gun control, the socialized healthcare. That’s why you now see Pelosi and others saying “We’re going to try this in October.” I mean, do you compare that that looks like how this is triangulating, or give us your expert opinion.

Ron Paul: It’s hard to say, but I think yes, there will definitely be some votes in September and October for them to bring this up. But on the inoculations, the main reason I was skeptical even in 1976 was that I don’t like the mass treatment of people; it was just bad medicine. That doesn’t mean that I have an attitude that inoculations are never good. As a matter of fact, I think polio was truly eradicated by inoculations, as well as smallpox.

But the questions is, should government be making massive decisions? Under the Constitution there is not supposed to be any government involvement at all. But government is in it. I remember that vote in the 1976; it was interesting because there were two of us who voted against it, and the other one was Dr. Larry McDonald. I’m sure you remember that name. He and I were the only two; I think there were three physicians in the Congress, but the two of us as physicians voted against it believing it was bad medicine.

Alex Jones: I would ask you, Congressman, please don’t take any flights from Alaska to South Korea.

Ron Paul: No, I don’t plan to do that.

Alex Jones: Well, I think there would be a revolt in this country if they did to you what they did to McDonald.

Ron Paul: We will continue the fight; there is no doubt about that. But the momentum is on our side, you know, people have warned me all about taking on the Federal Reserve. But the momentum is building. You know, we worry about how much pressure they have and how much authority they have. But because we’ve done our grassroots work, we’ve gotten the large majority of members of Congress to support our auditing bill. And that didn’t come from me persuading the Congressmen; that came from exactly what’s going on at these townhall meetings and the people being upset. And this way I think we harness the energy in the correct way and say “Look, there is a problem there and one of the problems is that they don’t tell us what they’re doing and here we have this secret organization that prints money, spends money outside the budget.” And people have responded and that’s why we have these 282 members of Congress, and I suspect we’re going to get more. Once we get to 290 or 300… around that area… which means we will have two-thirds of the vote, I think that’s the time I’m going to really start putting pressure on the leadership to bring this up. So far they’re indicating that they’ll bring the bill up in a mixture of other bills. But they might get bogged down so I think after we go back you may be hearing some announcements on where we want to direct our energies because we have such great momentum on the issue.

Alex Jones: And then if the Senate tries to block it with a procedure, that is going to be political suicide, isn’t it? Because in polls over 75% of Americans want to audit or abolish the Fed, that will only “Say what are you hiding, why can’t we look at what you’re doing?.” I mean did you see Bernanke… obviously you did… sputtering and bubbling around on PBS in Kansas City about why no one can see the books? I mean he looked like Sylvester caught with tweety bird feathers sticking out of his mouth.

Ron Paul: You know, what I’m suspecting, and we’ll see if I’m right about this suspicion, is that I think eventually they’re going to use national security as an excuse to keep the books closed. You know a lot of time what the CIA does is they say, “Oh, national security, you’re not allowed to know this. You can’t try this person for national security.” Because they do use funds to get involved in foreign affairs because they can make deals with other governments, other central banks, international financial organizations. And that’s the kind of stuff that they don’t want us to know about. So if there are some really big deals going on that they don’t want us to know about, we’ll see if they start talking about “Well, some of this stuff you guys shouldn’t know because that might undermine our national security.”

Alex Jones: Okay, Congressman, we got about 12 minutes left. I want to move quickly now through a whole host of questions. [...] Congressman, specifically on the economy, they told us three years ago we weren’t in a recession, and then two years later they admitted we’ve been in one for over a year. Then they said over a year ago they see “green shoots.” Now they’re saying again the economy is wonderful, we’ve turned a corner when every major indicator of joblessness and you name it, is getting worse and worse. Anybody on Main Street knows we’re in trouble. Maybe it’s good for bankers getting million dollar bonuses. What do you, as an economist, as a doctor, as a Congressman, what do you see happening? What is the data you’re seeing? Is this just more political hype to stall the imploding poll numbers of Barack Obama?

Ron Paul: Yeah, I think so. And the one group that is doing quite well is that Goldman Sachs group. Their business is booming and their profits are booming and they have lived off the government. But I think you’ll see little blips upwards and maybe they announce on the news, but it’s all propaganda. “Well, housing is doing so much better because it didn’t go down quite as quickly as last time.” – “Instead of losing 700,00

The Boy in the Balloon - Famous or Notorious?

The boy in the balloon, if nothing else, is now famous, thanks to an otherwise bored bunch of reporters.

Would hate to be the council on this one. Soon the prosecutors will have it up mayhem charges. He's a terrorist for sure, right?

Interesting deal though. How would one defend a PR stunt in Freedom of Expression or Article 1 of the UN bill of Rights, that is viewed by the Sheriff as a convoluted hoax? Is this crying fire! in a theatre as a joke that stampeded the crowd on a false report? Or is it not, where no no one was hurt or any physical damage caused? Expenses, yes. Practical joke or felony fraud? What do you think? Maybe this keeps him the Sheriff from getting bored in Larimer County.

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden comes across in the news report as a real redneck, doing his job as a pugilistic antagonist, lending all the makings for a great screenplay.

"The sheriff said he expected to recommend charges of conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, making a false report to authorities and attempting to influence a public servant. Federal charges were also possible.

The most serious charges are felonies and carry a maximum sentence of six years in prison and a $500,000 fine. Alderden said they would be seeking restitution for the costs, though he didn't have an estimate"

The Sheriff was dissatisfied with the original misdemeanor charges and has to dig deep for some felony charges. How did he get email conversations with the alleged co-conspirator, by the way? Sounds illegal.

Clearly the boy in the balloon incident is a case of "I shot the Sheriff; I did not shoot the Deputy."

Swine Flue Protest Takes to the Streets

Can you blame educated health care workers for refusing an untested vaccine shot containing elements that are known to cause severe health issues? Threatening them with being fired should they refuse the vaccination didn't go over too well.

The complaint is one of violation of rights accompanied by full blown protest march with statements like, "this is still America." At least the press is running it and at least they have gotten the message straight.

Among the latest potential side effects to come to light is the possibility of irreversible infertility in both sexes, all age groups, and some deaths in children. The Swine Flue actually turns out to be rather mid and any deaths connected are attributable to some other pre-existing condition of a sometimes fatal nature. Using a potentially deadly serum to treat a non-lethal disease is entirely reverse of the Hippocratic oath.

Refusing the dangerous vaccination is a matter of self defense. Threatening to take away someones job for that defensive action is a violation of human rights for sure. Defending the stance with the Rights to Public Assembly and Freedom of Speech is only appropriate. I'm sorry I missed the march. Let me know when is the next one.

This Day In Freedom

It's 9/11 today, 8 years since that devastating event that shocked the world. My heart goes out to those who needlessly died that day.

History sometimes repeats itself and the message isn't always easy to take. Some sort of Machiavellian power politics seems to make it "politically correct" to deceive the public with a cover up of obvious criminal activity and get away with it entirely. Among the most notable of these have been the JFK assassination and the destruction of the Twin Towers.

We saw when Warren Commission tried to force off on the people a "lone assassin theory" and give singular credit to Lee Harvey Oswald. This is bogus, no matter how many were assassinated to protect the lie.

Today we're fed the press line that the 3 towers were downed miraculously by 2 airplanes and the "lone assassin theory" being Osama Ben Laden and his Al-Qaeda terrorists. That our country is currently embroiled in two wars over this secret collusion is now spilled milk.

Some bad guys seem to have gotten away with murder. The ex-President is in therapy and you won't hear from him for some time to come. The new President has had to dance with damage control but mostly diverts attention to Health Care. After the astonishing run at criminality of the last administration the public are now led to speculating about Obama with all manner of distrustful accusations.

The real criminals get caught up in the end or make crazy mistakes to reveal their true nature. OJ was sentenced more for the murder than the robbery as it was too hokey to "get away with murder", all the while in scurrilous hiding behind the power of celebrity.

Meanwhile the central banking group, who would hope to control everything financial, has been busy behind the scenes crashing the economy as part of a greater plan. Now that Obama has signed away control of our countries monies to the Bank for International Settlements, and more, with the Basil II agreement (2 April, 2009), this doesn't speak well for our new President.

Nevertheless, with all that has transpired and with all the threats to freedom and human rights, the best answer is still the constitutional government of the United States with it's built-in system of checks and balances. We the People can still tell our legislators our disagreements and effect a majority outcome on the Congressional vote.

Not that it isn't a deadly game, as this day in history remembers on September 11, 2001. Over 3000 died, twice as many were injured, not to mention the many killed in the wars justified by 911.

Back in June 1963 JFK signed into action an Executive Order 10101 to allow the US Government to print it's own money bypassing the Federal Reserve. 5 months later he was assassinated on behalf of the Rothschilds, who have a history of assassination of US Presidents to keep a central bank in place. Our history is loaded with stories of devious and destructive Machiavellian activity to forward the super-rich's personal gain.

There are checks and balances to that as well. The neo-cons brag about how much they can do to the People and get away with because the People let them. Only broad scale complacency, indifference, and majority silence makes that possible. Also blindness, as in the refusal to confront evil.

The climate of freedom in America is deteriorating. The handling is to speak out on any channels one has. Get involved. Run for election, or at least write to your Congressmen and let them know where you stand on the issues that matter. Personal communication from enough people does get their attention as their job depends on your vote. You only have to have the courage to say what you observe. It's your country and planet.

And keep up the faith: American is still the freest country on earth. That we can exercise our Freedom of Speech keeps it so.

The Right to Eat Natural Is Under Attack

Here's a new one, our government wants to take away, in one fell swoop, our rights and freedoms to eat the foods we want to.

The HR 2749, passed through the House in a rushed and quiet move, will effectively destroy organic, natural and home farming foods industry in America and set up the FDA with the over-the-top enforcement powers to institutionalize all our foods.

A petition is being circulated by the Natural Foods Foundation to keep the Senate from passing the bill and I encourage you to sign it and forward the link to as many others as you can. We only have the 3 weeks of their recess to make a point with the Senators, assuming no special session is called.

Look at this scenario painted by the Natural Solutions Foundation as to the inevitable outcome of the so called Food Safety Act if passed as is stands:

"Example: imagine Joel Salatin's wonderful organic farm under the direction of the USDA, with detailed instructions on what he must feed and when, how he must medically "treat" his animals and with what, what he must "spray" and when, ... you get the picture. These bills will industrialize all farms and insure the farmers are forced to buy chemicals and drugs. Organic is dead. As well as human control over the food supply. As well as health."

The bill as written would harass to death all the smaller farms, particularly the ones that provide foods that don't poison us, by a bureaucratic regulatory enforcement nightmare with huge fines and jail terms for misdemeanor infractions of new fascist (rule by government force) rules.

Contemporary times and past history tell us that any bill being quietly rushed through Congress, so fast it is assured it hasn't even been read by the Congressmen is destined to wreak dire effects and perpetrate an ominous purpose. E.g., the PATRIOTS ACT and The Federal Reserve Act to note a couple of the most famous of such events.

Just as the financial crisis was engineered deliberately from the top to force an acceptance of the control of all world's finances by the private central bankers this you can be assured HR 2749 has a secret agenda attached to it. What that is has yet to be seen, but it may very well have something to do with the FEMA camps.

Remember that the tomato salmonella scare was completely false; that the were any actual cases of salmonella is questionable but for sure, by their own admission, FDA pulled tons of tomatoes off the shelves when they were arbitrarily declared the source. Later they said maybe it was the jalapenos instead. It was genuine incompetence or intentional destruction, take your pick.

Same with the swine flu "epidemic". Does anyone know any single person who actually had swine flue? Now FDA wants to force all Americans top get the (untested) swine flue vaccinations. It was just an operation run by the FDA all along.

Their plan could roll out like this:

1) Destroy the pesky organic, natural foods and home farmers, by concerted bureaucratic encumbrances and harassment,

2) Deepen the economic crisis by putting another sector out of business while manufacturing criminal charges against organic foods farmers,

3) Use the false premises to gain full control by the FDA of all food industry production making all producers produce the same, with overwhelming penalties if they don't,

4) FDA issues some false epidemic scare such as the salmonella or Swine Flu scare,

5) In an alarmist flurry of false media publicity proclaiming a raging epidemic Big Pharma gets rich on bogus flue shots,

6) Claims of public panic result in activating the FEMA acts and martial law,

7) With the FEMA Act invoked whole populations (dissenters) get rounded up "for public safety" and are interned in the FEMA (concentration) camps.

You can use your imagination after that but walk with your eyes wide open. The sequence from this in Nazi Germany legalized euthanasia followed by genocide. A number of the FEMA camps do have large ovens set up utilizable as crematories.

Whether my fears in 1-7 are justified this is for sure, the Senate must not pass HR 2749 Food Safety Act as written so we do not end up with no choices but food bad enough to choke a horse.

Independence Day Prompts a Review of Freedom

On this Independence Day one reflects on what's it all for; when not busy sipping beers at the barbecue what message is there to celebrate. The 4th of July came and went, albeit with a weak show of fireworks, evidencing that expensive fireworks were evidently pared down by a tough economy and, it would seem, a less enthusiastic America.

Ailing economy born of real economic abuses, challenges to our civil rights advanced by the past President bent on what could he get away with, his carnage left for the next President to patch up the wounds, these and other contemporary controversies leave one to wonder, are we making it? Various drastic changes over the last 3 centuries in our nation's benchmarks are perhaps not justified by proclaiming these to be mere advancements out of the experience of a nation moving past it's adolescence.

Loyal or not to whence they came, the migrants to America were set on living free of oppression and finding new opportunities to break into more desirable social standing. Freedom, rights, enterprise and lots of space were the draw. The American Revolution only accentuated the pride and integrity of a civilization alive with passion for life. The first outbreak of war was met with the Minutemen, volunteers who grabbed their guns from the hearth in their homes, became instant soldiers in defense of a lifestyle better than any up to that time. A free nation had to be fought for; it wasn't simply granted to us willingly by despots.

We see this fighting spirit in the volunteers that form our Armed Forces to stand watch for freedom around the world today. This patriotic turnout, in calls for support for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, is still very much appreciated and understood as important to the sovereignty of our nation. This has been the general air during each of wars we have engaged in in the past. The only difference is the growth, the numbers of population and 50 states preclude hiking with rifle from one's house to the war confrontation. The preemptive wars initiated by a President gone mad with power, however, punctuates the challenges of shielding the People from despotic government action. Thus we have the Bill of Rights.

The issues we have with our government today aren't principally any different from issues that have arisen other times in our history. The Patriots Act with its encroachment on human rights is, in the main, actually milder than the 1917 sedition and alien acts that were introduced in Woodrow Wilson's administration, where the nation was besieged by the invasion of Privacy by an army of civilian domestic intelligence and surveillance groups. Earlier in John Adam's presidency his Alien and Sedition Acts were one of the newborn nation's first challenges of the torch for freedom. Subsequent countering of the messages in the Constitution and Bill of Rights from the John D. Rockefeller and other administrations have demonstrated the necessity for watchdogs of rights and freedoms that speak out against dangerous changes that would usurp our rights and freedoms.

Several challenges have occurred, though, that have been new in the cultural progression which strikes a cautious note. Of late the boldness of the President Bush toying with the American People was taken to new heights. His bent was to test, in some weird Machiavellian conceptualization, just how much abuse the People would take and how much he could get away with in the way of greed and covert criminal action. No doubt Obama was brought in to calm everyone down after Bush's excesses, but possibly just so that more abuses could be again injected. The jury is still out on that one.

Another major change has been the extent of drug abuse that has swept society. Psychedelic drugs impair individuals with an irresponsible drug personality that lessens reach and ambition. Truth be known about the human mind, the so-called "mind altering drugs" factually submerge the creativity necessary to beneficent growth and advancement of a culture. The downside to that is a breakdown of human values and morale fiber.

The incept of psychiatry has been another major change in our society. This one stands above them all as genuinely and broadly destructive. No doubt about it it has been more harmful than it has been of help. The 70s drug culture itself was a product of psychiatry, who gave us LSD as well as the false datums that came with the free love and careless pursuit of mind altering addictions. Fomenting false data and twisted truths the conscious path of psychiatry has been to break down concepts of right and wrong, saying these concepts don't exist, while at the same time claiming this to be the test of sanity, the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. We bought into it, bowled over by the thrill of drugs and the excitement of permissive sex.

Psychiatry in society has been a most insidious addition due to it's covert actions and intentional hidden influence. Genocide and it's precursor abortion, segregation, racial discrimination, street drugs addiction and narcotic, psychotropic drugging of children, pregnant women and elderly all have psychiatric source, complete with names and places. These have been movements deliberately initiated by psychiatrists or the psychiatric associations such as the APA who, with a false smile on their faces, will tell you how good it is for you.

Vigilance for Freedom requires a high confront of evil, a strong ability to sanely observe and question. Abrogation of Freedoms and Right is rarely successful in the absence of deceit and deception. The Freedom Fighters that have the courage to stand up for the good of all are greatly appreciated.

Flag in Protest - OK or Not?

One man using the American flag upside flown down sparked confusion over the proprietary use of the Freedoms of Speech and Expression in such a quiet protest. Using the timing of the 4th of July Parade to bring a heighten social conscience regarding the refusal to grant his newly established Italian restaurant a liquor license is the catalyst of controversy.

Those thinking it simply a sign of disrespect have have lost touch with heritage in not knowing that the flag flown upside down is a universal distress signal. The man's livelihood and $200.000 on the line, being threatened by government interference, is understandably distressing. The blatant rights violation by the Police in this matter only emphasise the point; ignorance that trammels rights only requires even more protest. In this case, it appears, also a civil rights lawsuit.

It is a text book Public Relations response to use protest PR when normal channels break down and won't function. Fortunately we have a free and democratic nation where speaking one's mind is still permissible. In fact, this will remain so only as long as free and cogent discourse is considered a part of the fabric of freedom.

When the Flag, disposition of, becomes more important that the life of individuals the message of Rights and Freedoms, of which the Flag is only a symbol, has been submerged in ignorance. Perhaps scores of peoples signalling their own personal distresses around the nation would unite the nation in a greater social consciousness.

Equal Justice for All

The Equal Justice for All aspect of Human Rights falls a cropper when one doesn't know what one's rights are in any given situation but also when one doesn't have easy access to the legal system. This is even included in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights as Articles 6 through 11* all address protections and access to legal jurisprudence. So what's the problem?

Problems arise when one is unable to be individually represented.

This comes about in the main when one does not have access to his own attorney as it is simply unaffordable. To the very wealthy in North America, about 10% of the populace, affordability is no issue. On the other end of the spectrum is Public Assistance available to only about 10% of the populace, albeit possibly pot-luck service. In between is the 80% who very possibly can't afford the high cost of representation, who would have to think of the pocketbook before calling an attorney. This is especially so where one is anticipating civil action, mounting court costs and trial procedures in the US, the most litigious society on earth.

It is not simply a dispensable luxury item to have and use an attorney. It is an essential aspect in the flow of production and day to day living. Factually, organization of one's personal life is not complete without one's Legal Department in with a freely accessible legal liaison.

Random circumstances arise as various as are people. The bad economy can predicate desperate and ill advised solutions that can spill over into one's life. A mistaken identity or one willfully stolen by the rampant identity theft criminals can be disastrous when it strikes home.

What to do With Gitmo

(This blog is dedicated to resolutions in man's inhumanity to man, in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as not simply a pronunciation of the UN but as a powerful tool to resolve differences between and within all nations, to create a new era of compassionate and effective international diplomacy.)

The new President has been left the burden of what to do now about the Guantanamo Bay Terrorist Detainees. It was a false and unworkable solution from it's outset, so trying to put it to rights now is difficult and complicated, to say the least.

On the international scene the handling of violations of the Geneva Convention and the handling of war criminals and crimes against humanity is the province of the Hague and the United Nations. In 2002 the UN further set up extended justice handling with its International Criminal Court.

At home we have our Judicial System for prosecuting common criminals, whether it be Murder One, serial murderers, mass murderers or mob executions. Regardless of the atrocity of a crime, the system works to the degree it is kept honest, doesn't trammel individual rights and is swift justice. Continued departures from fair and just treatment sends tremors across the land that will fester to one day erupt in civil rebellion.

The statements of Bush regarding the need to protect American soil and citizens overshadowed his unverbalized statement that the UN didn't provide the protection. At the same time he withdrew faith and was undermining confidence in the UN, withholding cooperation and support. Espousing claims of ineffectiveness while doing the things that seriously hamper effectiveness is a poor show.

Gitmo was an attempt to establish a new category, "terrorist", with a side-pocket for handling these as unlawful enemy combatants. As such it has been more unworkable than pragmatic. It was, in effect, the establishment of war concentration camps where there was no declared war and the not-uniformed "prisoners of war" are not even clearly guilty of the accusations.

The use of torture and other Geneva Convention violations crosses over into acts that could be criminally prosecuted as sure as the criminal acts of the detainees. Without a doubt this has compromised the US image in the world and plagues the jurisprudence required to resolve the situation terminatedly. The proponents of Gitmo are now forced to attempt to save face and prevent accusations against themselves.

After nearly 8 years of containment, without the usual rights granted, no legal representation, no fair and swift trial nor due process, the remaining detainees fall between the chairs, possibly evil perpetrators, but nevertheless victims of an unusual and unworkable solution. This so far compromises a fair judicial handling that to attempt to try them in the courts of the Land of the Free now is doomed to failure.

One suspects that there was no substantial case against most of the detainees to begin with, or any potential evidence has been withheld by the intelligence agencies to guard state secrets and not compromise covert operatives. In truth, the purpose of Intelligence is not singularly covert operations, with its tools of delay, deception, detection and counter-espionage. It should be able to document and present evidence for actual prosecutions without jeopardizing the operations networks. Even if it involves playing a "Deep Throat" role to feed information that can be substantiated by an Attorney General or Criminal Investigator, justice can enacted. Hard evidence is still the determining factor, not belief or planted falsehoods.

The Gitmo scene is too long divergent from decency to afford a positive press, hoping to glorify this as a PR or diplomatic statement against our enemies in terrorist groups or the sympathetic sovereign ties. It's only bad press. The world is listening and watching.

Where there is sufficient evidence to try any of the remaining detainees this should done, but not by the US Court System. It should be done as a UN action by their International Criminal Court. The virtue of allowing the UN to mediate would restore some degree of the national symbolism embodied by the Statue of Liberty.

With the rest, where the evidence is lacking or compromised by abusive treatment of the prisoners, the US will have to eat crow and let them go free, probably back to the country in which they were seized. The detainee released to Saudi Arabia, who released him only to go back to leadership in the Al Qaida, was a bitter lesson. An amnesty can be given those released with the proviso that any returning to criminal activity in the Al Qaida or terrorist camps will be again incarcerated and given twice the penalties, or even immediate death sentence where proven without a doubt engagement in new terrorist acts.

It should have been handled right in the first place. Setting this to rights now will not be to everyone's satisfaction no matter how it is handled. Putting it back in its proper place in principle will have the least ramifications.

On Day One - Message to the New President

Dear President-Elect Obama,

Very well done on your excellent campaign win. Being President is not an easy job in any times but you have inherited some very tough crisis situations.

From the top down is the world scene and the tarnished reputation of the US on the global front. While it is important to protect our sovereignty and security we cannot go it alone. Our Nation will make the best progress by supporting the UN and thus partnering in the support of all mankind.

It was this view that in the end resolved some of our land's greatest trials, for instance the Civil Rights Movement ending the huge injustice of segregation.

I urge you to help strengthen the effectiveness of the UN and do so in the name of the UN Universal Declaration Of Human Rights. Human rights violations do not beget responses that violate human rights. Unilateral actions in the international arena has soured attitudes of too many peoples and scorched our reputation as a country of freedom and rights. The mere fact of your election alone has set this on the mend.

The UN does have purpose and structure that can monitor, judicate and police man's inhumanities to man, if given due importance and support. Setbacks to security, hunger and climate effect us all.

The UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights is quite sweeping in its scope and ability to heal.

I humbly beseech you to embrace fully a view of furtherance of mankind of all creeds and walks and all other actions will align, as purpose transcends policy.

Vote for the top priority actions of the new President at On Day One.

A Too-candid Letter to Obama

Really I do try to stay out of politics. That's hard to do when the consequence of political action denies freedoms and rights. Being required by law to the enslavement of addicting highly narcotic psychiatric drugs sends up red flags on the encroachment of life.

Psychiatric diagnosis means labeling means prescription to addictive psychiatric drugs. I have been prompted to blog after the recent news I have heard for which I must protest. I searched but found no way to email Obama from his website but I was able to email McCain. They looked like friends the way they shook hands after the debate so I ask McCain to pass on my letter thus:

Senator McCain:

I was unable to find any "contact us" or email link to Barack Obama on his official site, but you see him around at debates etc. Would you forward this to him for me?

Dear Senator Obama,

Some news was just passed to me that greatly concerns me. No, it actually alarms me.

It was told to me you are stoutly pro-psychiatry, that you have more pro votes for those cronies and even bills you co-sponsored than any other Senator. Like the Mother's Act that you co-sponsored (thank God that one was defeated) to require psychiatric examination and evaluation after and before pregnancy for post partum or pre-post partum depression.

Is this true? Or even partly true? Just wait until the hockey mom hears about this, that she was that close to being prescribed black box labeled psychiatric drugs at her last delivery.

These drugs are addictive narcotics that rank on the drug classifications tables as more severe than cocaine. Make no mistake about it, the goal is not evaluation: it is addiction to their drugs that the psychiatrists want.

It was even told to me that on two score psychiatric related bills favoring psychiatric misdeeds Senator McCain voted No and you voted Yes.

You are possibly too young to remember Segregation brought to us by psychiatry. What a mess that was for decades!

The entire rationale for that era came from a vote with no scientific evidence by the American Psychiatric Association. This "mental health disease" had no basis in fact, yet it was put on the list of all mental heath diseases, the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM), to justify the Segregation Movement.

Brace yourself for burning truth. I'm going to tell you what they named it. "Negroitis". This is NOT A JOKE - it is on the list! This is the rationale that the Segregation laws and support were all based on.

Here is what psychiatrists said "Negroitis" is: it is a "Mental Health Disease" that turns your skin black and you are not cured of it until your skin turns white. Furthermore it could be contagious so blacks must be segregated from whites and not use the same water spigots and public facilities.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

This is not, repeat not, a prank, what I write to you here is documented. The best full documentation of this was an expose some years ago by Freedom Magazine revealing the voting methodology that is the only authority behind the declaration of "mental health diseases". It has nothing to do with scientific clinical testing, which hasn't been done.

It was plainly a huge joke by the American Psychiatric Association and by it Segregation was put into law. Do you think it stopped there, this charade?

Today we have "ADHD" with no clinical test or scientific support. How about "Mathematics Syndrome"? Check your figures - you might have it! Here's your meds prescription.

If you want a good laugh, get the DSM yourself and read it.

Today the APA has proclaimed the intention to put every school kid in America on their psych-drugs. Where do you think the new onslaught of school shootings comes from? This is a published side effect of the now-black-box-labeled narcotic drugs Ritalin, Prosac (the leaders) and others. There is now a whole string of derivatives under different names and all are still as lethal.

Why would the FDA require posting of these warning labels? It 's because the side effects are tendency to violence and increased propensity to suicide. Violence and suicide.

One for one school shootings have been linked to these drugs and psychiatric evaluation. It is a true statistic: the more school kids on these "meds" the more school aged suicides. It is an embracive graph!

Maybe you have been, pardon me for bluntness, ignorant of these facts. Now you know them, if you have read this far in the letter. Really, you're off your rocker to be a friend of psychiatry. I'm sorry, I have to say it like it is.

I had (slightly) considered the idea of voting for you. I have friends who (mistakenly?) want to vote for you. Can you deny these searing rumors, say it isn't so, or denounce psychiatry now?

I must speak out loud and clear against anyone for President who believes any good can come from psychiatry who, by their own admission, has cured no one. Check your facts! And vote the other way.

This pains me. I am so nonpolitical that to now feel compelled to get politically involved and go national with this news is outside my preferences. Act fast I do, however, so I look forward to a rapid response.

Ballad to the Ode of a President

This chilling music video from Pink recalls the tumultuous protest times of the 70's. While songs have historically always been a venue for political activists that we see more and more of this indicates how far off the mark our nation's leaders have gone.

Remember Jimmy Hendricks, Simon and Garfield, The BeeGees, the Doors and so many others? There were the marches in the street, the war protests and the unforgettable Woodstock. And earlier when John Kennedy came and was shot for refusing to step in line to the swift boat politic of his time.

In today's meltdown economy the President wants to sign a $700 billion check to bail out criminally irresponsible banking institutions, not for the people evidently, but for sure at the cost of the taxpayer. This from the same President who through deception and lies committed the nation to 2 preemptive wars, neither of which we can we win nor walk away from, shades of Vietnam.

Who is served by this? Or this more burning question, who profits from this?

One wonders if this shattered nation will soon recover from the debacle or is this the fall of the Roman Empire? God help us if McCain (Bush in practice) gets in as President as the next 4 years could push the crippled nation beyond the point of no return and destroy the country forever.

It isn't even Bush or McCain or Obama, whatever Administration follows next, it's the super rich above them who feel they are who is really running the world on their hidden agendas and obscene wealth. So try as we will at the polls it will not be enough to stem the cancer.

Music, however, leads a culture, in fact, the works of all artists herald the dreams of a culture. It is a way to speak up in an effective voice without getting put on the President's terrorist watch list. Music is heard. Perhaps others will follow suit with song like Pink's Dear Mr. President and add support to the message: enough already. It is sorely needed.

It's a Public Service Not a Porn Store

The issue of offering WiFi service on Airlines and whether to filter off porn is an interesting one and has elicited many diverse comments in a lively discussion. It's good to see the lively debate as this is after all a democracy. The matter of rights is also forwarded in the comments following the article but this actually is not an issue.

Common decency and fair play alone will find the airlines observing the rights of others as they regularly would extend politeness and courtesies to their fares. After all they want your business. Don't be surprised though if they later refuse your business after you have done something unthinkably distasteful like deliberately urinate in the aisle way.

Doing business with someone is a matter of mutual agreements and accord not divine right.

In the article the matter is brought up whether the Airlines offering in flight WiFi should filter porn sites so that passengers next to the porn user are not violated by the openly public porn. This is my response to this article and the ensuing comments.

The issue should be very simple if you see it as in this example: you loaned your laptop to a friend you would be of rights to ask your friend not to log on to any porn sites. If he fails to heed your reasonable request you can refuse in the future to lend him your laptop. Furthermore if you want to have porn blocks on your laptop prior to lending the computer you are completely of rights to do so. This is even true if you rent it to your friend for a month or so.

Your friend's 1st Amendment or 4th Amendment Rights have nothing to do with this. The disposition of your property is totally up to you. In this same light a restaurant owner has control over the customers of his restaurant, a cabbie of his fares and of course the airline of what happens inside the plane.

In this wise a proper perspective can be maintained and rights not trammeled on or forced into a situation where inapplicable.

What Goes Around Comes Around

It is a truism in this universe that one is fought by those one is fighting. One mourns with condolences those who died in the conflict at the US Embassy in Yemen. Then one points the finger at Bush.

Why Bush? It's his turf and he started the fight. Whether you agree with that impartial analysis or not he is undeniably fighting since. The preemptive strikes on Afghanistan and on Iraq, going it alone despite the contrary advices of our allies and in defiance of international law, these things did not win the US friends on the world scene.

Furthermore he is the President and the realm of his responsibility includes how the world considers this country and what happens regards this sovereignty even on the world scene. In other words if it's good it's his, if it's bad it's his. I simply expect him to be competent and make the right decisions and take affirmative action to the benefit of the greatest good of the greatest number.

Now we are told he is simply going after the terrorists, the al-Quaida, that attacked us in the Sept 11 Twin Towers destruction. This is a clever Machiavellan misdirection that the Skull and Bones crowd is no doubt proud of. If we can't irrevocably prove that the Towers One and Two were an inside job one can definately see that the Tower 7 was a controlled demolition, thus the work of pre-preparation.

This leaves the question open of what role, if any, did the al-Quaida actually play in that event. The actual facilitation of the event was most probably more than the al-Quaida could have put in motion. They would have to have had super-secret access to Tower 7, for instance, for a week or two prior to set the controlled demolition explosives that dropped the 48 stories of a building which contained the civil defense posts for the emergency reponse units and US intelligence offices, CIA, FBI etc. That would be a cute trick for a "terrorist group", so someone else did it.

Theorizing this all the way out one can imagine the Taliban of Afghanistan hearing that they solely responsible for the whole act on Sept 11th and they are reason we are invading Afghanistan and later Iraq. They just might object to being made the scapegoats and even be militantly hostile about it. This would account for the very low opinion of the US that is seen in those other countries and is the subject of massive marches against Bush in places like London.

To be a President you'd perhaps have to have the memory of an elephant, goodwill of a Gandhi, the analytical logic of Grand Master chess player and the observance of a god like compassion towards mankind to appreciate this viewpoint. In other words, like mankind, realize that all men have inalienable human rights, be exemplary in justice and fairness, use rational thinking to embrace the greatest good for the most mankind, be able to envision consequences across the span of time from the deep past to the far reaching future and have the benevolence and generosity of a saint.

In other words you'd have to have the magnanimously competant leadership you'd expect of the President of the most influential country in the world. Taking actions that could be ascribed to a lieing, deceiving bully would not gain favoritisms except among the James Gang.

Here is another sweeping datum that sets the mind to wondering: a criminal anti-social personality will always accuse others of what himself has been doing. This is demonstratable, observable truth. Applied to the circumstances of this administration one is left wondering what have they really been up to.

It is understood that being President of the United States is a tough job. It just takes a very skillful individual at the helm. Reagon was able to do it and is no doubt the best President we have had in recent times. He was exceptional in this respect: he was a high toned individual, had a good sense of values and was very candid.

This is an important comparison. Reagon had the graciousness of the hero in one of the old cowboy movies, only it wasn't an act, that was his personality. He was someone you could trust. Seeing that in a President was refreshing. America needs again his open honesty.

Palin for VP

Governor Palin of Alaska has taken the spotlight as the new kid in town Vice Presidential running mate for John McCain. There is a ton of press on it today but this article summarizes it well, linked below followed by the comment I posted.

This was a clever move by McCain as without this his campaign was destined for the low road. With Palin's reputation this definitely stirs the pot.

The issues aren't the issue, Paris Hilton's politics notwithstanding, as much as is the idea that someone with some moxy could gain position in the White House that would put in ethics on the government crowd. That's so sorely needed as to outweigh everything else, if she only accomplished that.

Her experience isn't the issue either as she has shown she has the learning curve ability to rise to the responsibilities. The plan to enact an ethics bill is a good move that will tend to amnesty the tempest of the widespread corruption she will find in Washington, an otherwise overwhelming prospect, albeit Braveheart that she is.

The question is how will she handle the holdover from the Bush and Cheny corruption of our government as veep. McCain himself has yet to denounce Bush and his high crimes and war crimes listed in the Impeachment Resolution HR 1258 still in the House Judiciary Committee as we speak, not to mention the more confrontable destruction of our country of rights, constitution and fiduciary responsibility. It's a mess and it will take some high confront and on-your-feet clever handling to turn the ship away from the shoals.

For sure it will take all she's got to maintain her integrity, independence and willingness to take on the corrupt and shake up "politics as usual" without herself being compromised. That McCain now comes out with his version of "I have a dream" and claims to have intentions to clean up politics in Washington stretches the credulity. Feasibly Palin could shake him up as well, not too far fetched an idea.

Personally I wouldn't vote for McCain or Obama. Maybe I'll just vote for VP.

As a postscript to this comment, any judgement within the nation or on the world scene is barren without the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights considered as a moderating principle. While Diplomacy and State Security are full bodied subjects on their own the guiding path can never negate the existence of inalienable rights.

Where Palin stated that Ron Paul "is cool, he's very independent" one wonders if she understands it's his adherence to rights that mold that "coolness". All the rest is brilliant application to the existing scene to arrive at pragmatic application of the guiding principle.

Palin displays a lot of potentiality in that regard but has yet to take it all the way home. One can only hope that she will go the distance.

As the mainstream press is no longer covering these current events I am posting these on my blog lest someone forget that HR 1258 is currently in the House Judiciary Committee which has been issuing subpoenas and gathering data so this can be passed to the Senate for impeachment proceedings. It is not old news, it is a current event, which would think the press would all over this with coverage. The House Resolution 1258 cites evidence for war crimes and high crimes so I fail to see how this is a light matter.

The truth is when criminal action is committed the person always has the choice the come clean and get straight. When that doesn't occur justice actions must be taken. How many times have we heard that someone indicted for a new crime has a history of past crimes so that the new crime could have been predicted and stopped before it happened.

The House Judiciary Committee will, I trust, keep putting forth its ethics presence and stem the tide of further heinous acts. We can only hope. The public presence is very much needed and this is where the press has come a cropper: not making it known.

We're looking at falsely propagandizing a war, just for one of the 35 charges, that has taken a lot of lives in Iraq, about a million counting the Iraqis who have died. Not a good statistic for the US President.

This has been a great country. I for one would like to keep it so. Speak up and say your part: your voice will heard somewhere and to that degree it will make a difference. This so that America can truly be the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Re Article "Bush Should Get A Life"

An article belaboring the petty quibbling between Obama and McCain demanded a comment and it is an important enough point that I reprint it here:

Have you examined why the Bush popularity has dropped to 29% domestically (if not even less by now), even lower overseas? The American people are intelligent enough to know when an operation is being run on them. The administration's black propaganda campaign based on lies and deceipt is something honest American people want nothing to do with.

Bear in mind the potentially biggest event of the year is evidently being swept under the carpet by the Bush-domineered press: the Bush Impeachment Resolution that passed in the House last week 166 nay to 251 in favor, HR 1258. Some of the 35 charges are token but the main ones are enough to indict him on criminal charges for war crimes and international crimes against the Geneva Convention. You'd think this would be major headlines daily.

The broadly known public data is enough to impeach them let alone what would be found by undercovering a bit more evidence. Plus there is a whole set of accessory (minimally) to crimes against humanity if not outright commissions more closely surrounding the events of Sept 11, 2001 that readily could be charged. That these are not even addressed on the impeachment bill but could easily be is an oversight. It appears the resolution may be allowed to stand as no more than a warning shot. Nixon was successfully impeached on 1/10th of the issues Bush needs to account for.

Like the American Gangster Bush and Cheny and their lieutenants stand there with a smoking gun confident there isn't anyone around with enough guts to call a crime a crime and enforce it. Bush and Cheny are just blatantly over the top in malfeasance.

If we ever needed the Minute Men who didn't hesitate to drop their dinner forks and run out the door with their muskets to face the Britsh without fear for their lives we need them now. Those brave Freedom Fighters whose courage and integrity gave us what freedom we have today. As individuals we need to speak out for action, right now.

Instead we have a cocaine snorting rich kid now in the White House who knows he can get away with murder because his wealthy family is well connected and the people he swore to serve are so complacent he can get away with war crimes because no one will face him and say "Punk, you may be wondering if I fired 6 bullets or 5... do you feel lucky?"

Democracy: Dead or Dieing

It is a voice I have heard a lot of lately, and indeed throughout the presidential primaries. Whether one believes it or not this signals a big red alert for our nation. When a majority of the peoples of a sovereignty lack the voice, or are too complacent, to any longer bring a necessary positive change to that nation it can be understood that that nation is headed down the same route of so many great civilizations now vanished.

As ours is a democracy the sound functioning of our governing system requires two forgone conclusions:

1) That the voice be heard and acted on when a majority and

2) That people are vocal so the voice can be heard.

Where the debate was lively and spirited at the outset days of our nation one does not see that so much so today. Certainly the Ron Paul followers were this spirited, while the stuffed shirts of the GOP chose to stifle their participation as evidently way too lively for them. If you only looked at this as a study in tolerance of motion you could have a lot of fun with it.

Having a democracy mandates that you have freedom and rights, including the right to be heard.

Having followed the Ron Paul campaign in the press alerts one definitely saw a pattern of media focus on the two main party candidates to the exclusion of other candidates. The press pre-set an outcome and then propagandized that as if it is the people talking. For instance, Ron Paul would be shunted in, or entirely left out of, televised debates. If you hadn't been following all the Ron Paul news alerts you would have missed that he was even still running. Thus the voice of democracy all too much has become the voice of the press, or more basically who is in the ear of the press who is then their mouthpiece.

Sometimes we're not permitted our own life by reason of government interference though supposedly protected as an inalienable human right. This has been highlighted by the permissive wording of the Patriots Act which does tend to stifle democracy. Speak out against the war loud enough and you could find yourself, in the worst case scenario, under surveillance as a suspected terrorist, seized and incarcerated for years with no representation or trial or without charges even. If someone suspects you have the wrong friends and reports this you then could be put on the watch list, perhaps grabbed and secreted away in the name of the Patriots Act, it is subject to such abuse. Seems remote, but it appears now this was the case in at least a few hundred of the detainees who were held for years without representation, so don't say it can't happen.

Evidently if you have nothing to say you could be "persuaded" until you do. We now know about waterboarding but what else went on? It is not known at what point you are believed, if you have no connection, or when the military junta would finally accept that and let you go carry on with your right to life. It's the government's call. This is a reversal of the historical precedents of our nation, innocent until proven guilty.

Now that a pretense of trials is occurring in Guantanamo to determine the guilt of the detainees a majority have been released. There was at one point about 800 detainees and now there is around 200 so one can suspect those released were not guilty of anything or nothing that would stand up to a trial. Can you imagine being incarcerated 3 to 5 years while never being charged and with no recourse, all the while not being guilty but having to endure abusive and humiliating treatment, assumed to be guilty until you can prove yourself innocent? With no counsel provided that you could prove your innocence. Even in the climate of fear promulgated by the righteous war on terrorism this is an insult to a nation founded on human rights.

In the surreal 007 world of cover ops these things go on. Where this has crossed the line in the undeclared war against Iraq and the proclaimed "war" against terrorism the attempts to legitimize the actions taken don't hold up against the burden of proof.

There's nothing democratic about the unjust treatment of others. While Bush's popularity is at an all time low here in the US it would appear he is rated even worse across other nations of the world. During Bush's recent overseas tour over 100,000 people turned out to protest Bush at one Iraqi war demonstration in England, our closest ally.

This is not good, yet our democracy is a hope factor for the world. Brits evidently count on on us to lead the way and hold the line for freedom per reports from abroad. One columnist advocate has said:

" George Bush is on his way out. He as an individual is not that significant but it's what he represents.

Whoever replaces him in the US is going to carry on with the same policy. They're preparing to install themselves in Iraq semi-permanently. It's turning Iraq into a colony while thousands of people continue to die.'"

Concurring or not with that sentiment there is more than a few overseas voices with similar sentiments.

To be the aggressor in the Iraqi war has been a betrayal not only in the US, where this was in no way a democratic choice, but now has put our president and our country's presence in the world in ill regard. The 100,000 to 200,000 protesters in London indicates a considerable dissenting voice. That is just in one city, in one country.

On the other hand it came to my attention when I observed a British editor friend of mine avidly following the Ron Paul campaign. John Mappin, owner of The Independent chain of papers wrote a song in support of Dr. Paul's campaign efforts. For some time this event monopolized the Google searches with numerous mostly foreign press feeds. Fascinated by this I did some looking around and discovered that the campaign of Ron Paul was indeed being watched by the world in hopes that he would win and some of the freedom would return to their shores.

Holding high the torch for freedom is not just an American phenomena. It is the hope and trust for the world. I surely hope we don't let them down.

A Weak Rout of Cheney and Bush

Ordinarily I have an inordinate abundance of patience and tolerance in expressions of the viewpoints of others. However I couldn't help but leave a comment on the blog of Two Crabs who evidently didn't realize that "intelligent" is a good quality that holds merit. To quote the blog:

"I'm all for the publics' right to protest, but what strikes me is the odd folks that turn out for political rallies. The majority are rather mainstream folks, but you always get the handful of loonies. And none are loonier than the 9/11 Conspiracy Theorists. Even stranger to me is that most of these conspiracy theorists are high-educated people. Twice in the past month, I've been verbally attacked by these so-called conspiracy theorists in London. One was a British tech guy; the other was an American high school teacher. It's no point even debating these people because they are completely absent of reason, logic and facts. Go figure. Anyway that's my rant for the day."

I am recapitulating my comments to the Two Crabs post here as the point needs to be said as repeatedly as needed until the meaning gets through the drunken stupor.

The Impeachment Resolution that passed the House of Representatives last week is an almost brave gesture. One gets the impression it is merely a warning salvo to keep Bush and Cheny from committing their next insane act, a preemptive air strike on Iran. Once you're on a roll what have you got to lose by going all the way. Yet this is what the resolution fails to do.

On publicly known evidence alone Bush and Cheny can easily be charged with crimes against humanity as regards the events surrounding The World Trade Towers massacre. This would include Malfeasance of Office, Obstruction of Justice, Accessory to Murder and Mayhem, Aiding and Abetting a Crime Against Humanity and Conspiracy to Defraud. I'd like to add a few charges like First Degree Murder but it would be more than my prima fasci evidence readily allows though it wouldn't take too much investigation I'm sure.

Here is what I said to their blog post:

"Me thinks you should raise your confront of evil, or trade in your rose colored glasses for some Foster Grants. Or at least cut back on the meds. Shock politics has been in vogue for several millenia that we know of.

"When the brains fall out the back of the skull you know the gunshot wasn't from behind and you don't have to be a forensic expert to see that; even an awake person of moderate intelligence can realize the lone gunman theory of the JKF assassination is completely and utterly bogus. And a cover up.

"Likewise it can be seen by any person, even of lesser intelligence, on casual viewing of well known evidence that the idea that the twin trade towers AND building 7 were each taken down by the singular action of a jet crash is as impossible as the lone gun theory. It's no "loonie" to conclude there's a skunk in the woodpile.

"Ever since September 12th, 2001 I have wondered how our intelligence (not 'intelligent' - different definition) agencies, FBI, CIA, NSA, could be so stupid as to watch it go down and fail to stop it from happening. The intelligence reports were in, down to the date of the happening. No one is that incompetent.

"You say you get this "theory" from intelligent people but that they are loonies, what does that make you? Unintelligent?

"The Bush Impeachment Resolution just passed the House 251 to 166 and while I sometimes wonder how intelligent our Representatives are these are at least honored gentlemen. The 35 charges cover everything but aiding and abetting the 9/11 crime against humanity. The charges do cover Bush's deliberate deception regards the Iraqi war among other purgeries. Church and State

As Freedom of Religion can never be divorced from the umbrella of human rights a Church/State can never be included in that arena, which is to say a theology goes against the grain of human rights and politics does not mix with religion. The essential issue needs to be taken a step further lest the deepest truth be missed.

Cynthia Phillips argues that a Church/State inevitably falls into bias of it's own and therefore the intolerance of others. These are my own words but should catch the essence of what Cynthia says. Historically this proves out and goes without saying.

Huckabee's statement of the intention of "taking this nation back for Christ" indeed seems a departure from our First Amendment. If in giving the benefit of the doubt of possible misunderstanding that this was intended figuratively by Mr. Huckabee, meaning that we need to revive spirituality in our nation and restore humanity to man, I totally concur. Huckabee's statement however smacks of separatism from and intolerance for others' beliefs, starting presumably with the Islamic Muslims.

Religion and human rights go hand in hand as both require at their pinnacle omniscience and omnipotence, the allness of all. Rarely ever, or never, have we seen a sovereign government exhibit such magnificence.

To put this all in contrastive perspective one need only trace the deviate train of thought back to it's ominous and unseen source: psychiatry. Lest one think this non-sequitur to the issue of Church and State realize we are talking about basic values intrinsic to humankind and on the other hand a dastardly group that has vowed to destroy those values.

In 1945 psychiatrist G. Brock Chisholm to the assembly of psychiatrists emulated J.R Rees' 1940 master plan as the guiding principle for psychiatry, their paramount aim as "reinterpretation and eventually [the] eradication of right and wrong". This arrogant agenda laid out in detail includes the dissolution of family values and religious belief as essential to accomplishment of their goals. That's the downside of this issue.

Psychiatric mainline activities, addictive narcotic psychiatric drugs, prefrontal lobotomy, insulin shock and electroshock therapy each one inflicts pain and unconsciousness. These are highly destructive activities to the body, mind and spirit of the patient. It is not healthy - mentally or physically. Besides that, these violate human rights, considering that the practices are fraudulent and have never cured anyone by psychiatry's own admission. Without rehashing the volumes of documentation behind the above statements make a note of this: where there is a keenly unfavorable activity to advance militant ethnicity, separatism and otherness particularly in religious intolerance there is, if one looks deeply enough, a psychiatrist in the woodpile.

Ethnic cleansing, that heinous fabrication of psychiatry, also could said to be, by association, religious cleansing. Advancement of humanity to humankind does not admit to another religious crusade so let's don't go there.

That the Roman Catholic Church's heavy involvement in psychiatric therapy is found in parallel with its group's moral difficulties of sexual abuse among it's priests as a present crisis issue is no wonder. I trust the Pope will work it out, if he recognizes that the undermining of values is coming from the psychiatric false data rampant in our society and the reliance of the Catholic Church on psychiatry.

Following through on Rees's master plan psychiatry has no good will towards religions. Even to this day as we witness the Child Protection racket in Texas under psychiatric rule engage in human rights violations in mass against the families of that Mormon sect.

That said my main point can be made. Central to human concourse is the recognition of human rights inclusive of the inalienable right to one's own religious practices and their performance. Our country's First Amendment groups the freedom of religion with other specific rights such as the freedom of speech while the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights lists these each separately in the 30 specifically stated rights. Unstated here but a necessary corollary is that the souls of men have the rights of men.

You can't get more basic than embracing life as that of spiritual beings, that each and every one of us is basically good and is a spiritual being, a soul or spirit, call it what you will. Psychiatrists notwithstanding (joke). Spiritual being to spiritual being it matters naught to me whether the individuals before me prefer Mohammad or Christ or Buddha or L. Ron Hubbard. I see these groupings of man pursuing the same goals: desires to advance spirituality, basic truth and the study of knowledge. This would naturally embrace the highest point from which one could view, the omniscience and omnipotence associated with God and pan determinism in the allness of all. This is the quintessential what goes around comes around.

The State, in the activities of any of its agencies, is a sovereignty that must hold its own by its might and symbology with some agreement of principles. We don't however need an army of a particular color to tell us how we can worship.

Thus anyone should be free to pursue their religious beliefs. The delineation of the inalienable human rights defines the boundaries against which the the path is directed for the furtherance of humanity to mankind.

One Who Would Serve

Being in a position of service only gives one the right to serve. As a poilitician is a civil servant it would stand to reason he is one who serves the people who elected him. Herein lies the failure of American statesmanship and our world diplomatic personality.

If the point of Lions for Lambs was too cryptic it was not missed by outspoken people like Naomi Kline, Brian Michels and Charley Sheen. The Republican niche group of neoconservatives would turn all political action into a super-capitalism money making proposition. The implementation of this into reality in our government translates into yet another form of fascism.

Only one candidate today has the courage to stand apart from the self-serving aims of the neoconservatives. Ron Paul has consistently held his ground in stating his views of how the people would best be served without the hackneyed spin of the money mongers.

The way the press slant colors the presidential campaign it would seem that McCain is the chosen one to carry the banner for the neocons agenda launched by the first Bush administration of which the current president is just carrying the ball of the father's legacy.

When you are attacked and you have to go to war you get in and get it over with quickly. You don't drag it out for 6 years. Making the maximum amount of profits for the longest possible time - that's what corporations do. It is not what armies do. Restore freedom and let the people get on with it.

Unless profits is what you had in mind in the first place.

Is there anything worse in store for our great country than money-grubbing civil servants? Money motivation for an elected politician is not only highly immoral it can be downright illegal.

The hallmark of the neoconservative is an extreme favoritism of the "haves and have-mores" as the President put it. This while he struts his pearls in defense of war to prove he has the cajoles macho enough to be a president. My appologies to Clinton for the male analogy but then isn't she putting this forth as well as the American woman who would ignore her husband's blatant infidelities that were even the subject of impeachment hearings. She would have to, it would seem, have some condoning agreement with the "men will be men" or some sort of psyche-based false datums justifying Mr. Clinton's out-ethics.

Clinton has stated some views as if she would strike out on her own politic but her overall campaign has changed regularly with the sway of the polls. One gets the idea she would sadly only be party to the temptations of compromising neoconservative special interest groups.

Obama comes across on a cursory view as one who would take up the call of serving the people. However when an attack was launched against him questioning if he was a Muslim and whether he was in the wrong camp he broke into a tirade in defense of America with a voice that smacked of strained justification and weak relinquishment of his own integrity in support of the neoconservatives. One doesn't get reassurance Obama would be steadfast in serving the people and the constitutional oath of the presidency when faced with pressures brought to bear by greedy politicians.

You can definitely follow a consistency by Ron Paul who is openly outspoken in his platform and steadfastly stands by the constitution, rights and freedoms. Even when he took a hit where a racist article had in the past been erroneously posted in his name he took responsibility for that, simply re-stated that he is not a racist and did not get pulled down into the petty game of low blow politics.

This truely exhibits a Jeffersonian beingness that this country would do well by during these times that try men's souls with daily assaults on the foundation that made this country great.

It is not my intention to throw my hand into the political counter plays of the presidential campaign. On the contrary it is a broader view when one reads the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, steps back, views the problems of our sovereign country and sees how this Declaration pronounces a common thread of all mankind.

If this were understood and fully embraced in our diplomatic stance in the world we would not now be embroiled in a war in Iraq that appears we cannot walk away from, shades of Vietnam, that compromises us in the world community and illustrates our country as the new world bully.

The trillion dollars spent on the war in Iraq is evidence enough this is about money. That Saddam Husain was a tyrannical psychotic totalitarian dictator is undeniable. Bringing him to justice for his crimes against humanity did not require a trillion dollar bill and the lives of non-combatant men, women and children. It is too painfully obvious that the best interests of the humanity in Iraq was no consideration in the decision to take up arms against that nation.

If we really were out to rid the world of a mad dictator who truely deserved to be hanged for his crimes against humanity the feat of bringing Saddam Husain to justice could have been accomplished in diplomatic policing choices available on probably less than 1/100,000 the trillion dollar bill for the Iraq war. No, it is about money and using the body politic to grab for oneself as much as possible.

There are always choices in diplomacy and statesmanship. It is the intention that makes the difference - is it for the greatest good of all or is it an evil and secretive desire to line one's own pockets.

While the neoconservatives are out glorifying this war it has gone unnoticed that the the guiding principle of inalienable rights held by all mankind does offer up viable solutions and highlight those would be politicians who chose to ignore these principles to serve themselves, the neoconservatives, and who would blatantly ignore the truth that the presidential oath of office is really about serving the people.

One man would genuinely and honestly serve the people. Ron Paul deserves a lot more attention and support in the ongoing presidential election.
